Kay’s Privacy Policy

The European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) takes effect on May 25. The GDPR requires everyone who runs a website / runs a mailing list to be transparent about how they collect, use, and share personal data (personally I don’t do any of the three, but I guess the potential is there since I run a website so….onwards and forwards.)

I’m sorry to be one of the many people complying with this law (who knew what a rule follower I would be), but seriously…since this law takes effect Friday I am finally getting my Kay Daniels Romance Privacy Policy posted so if anyone follows my page, or subscribes to my page, or even decides to look at my page I will now be in compliance.

In a nutshell here is the nitty-gritty…

The EU has passed some really serious privacy laws that go into effect on Friday, which means I now have to be compliant.

It’s important to understand that while the GDPR is a European regulation, its requirements apply to all sites and online businesses that collect, store, and process personal data about EU residents no matter where the business is located. Do I know if you live in Europe? Nope. I haven’t a clue, but alas, here we are….rule following and all.
