Boyfriend for Hire is sugary sweet. The kind of story that will give you lots of warm fuzzies. It’s a perfect weekend read and to top it all off, the perfect gentleman (yes, I said gentleman) falls in love with a curvy redhead. That is always a huge plus for my reading senses.

Nic is a male escort. A highly paid, does very good at his job, male escort. It isn’t until he meets Elle, while on the job, that for the first time in his life he finally takes a good hard look at his shallow living. His very good wealthy, but shallow living. Meeting Elle was like jumping into the deep end of the pool without knowing how to swim and she might be his sexy lifeguard or the lead weight that pulls him down.

Nic figured at some point in his life he’d eventually move on and get out of the escort lifestyle, but how or when that happened he’d never given it much thought. Elle made that realization something he was suddenly thinking about a lot. She turned him inside out. A good kind of inside out. Suddenly he wanted to give up everything to be with her. He just didn’t know if when she found out what he really did, she’d still want to be with the man she thought he was or the real Nic.

Elle should have seen the red flags, but instead she avoided every single one in lieu of the hot guy her friend set her up with. Nic said all the right things, did the right things, he was gorgeous. Why was he still single?

She should have been leary from the get go, but having just come out of a crappy relationship she ignored every warning bell to jump in feet first. She was allowed to have some fun, right? Only that fun turned into something more. Nic turned into something more. Could this, could he really be the real deal?
