2019 Goals – Monthly Author Feature – Kristin Harte

2019 Goals. Happy July!! Half of 2019 has gone by, where has the time disappeared to?

Summer finally arrived somewhere amidst all the rain and it also included a lot of fantastic reading.

I’m going to keep my babbling brief this month because I have more reading and sunbathing to get back to…

But, if you’ve missed the past few months, where I not only launched into my journey of 2019 goals, but also highlighted other amazing authors, please check them out by clicking on the links below.

Now—Welcome to June!!

June was filled with romcoms, bully romances, sports romances, contemporary reads and so much more, but it was the second chance story by Kristin Harte of Pop the Clutch that stood out among everything I read.

This book touched on some very real social media consequences, but also had one of the best book boyfriends I’ve ever read. Easton Cole is not only a hard working, blue collar walking wet dream, he is also a gentleman with manners. His silver tongue is made for sweet talking and dirty talking and other fun activities. He is everything a wish granted all rolled up into one.

Then there was Violet Foster who was dealing with her past and her present all at once, not a pleasant situation, but Easton stayed by her side every step of the way. This couple was a great read and I loved Kristin’s writing, I hope you will too.

POP THE CLUTCH crackles with tension and sizzles with heat.” ~Jen DeLuca, author of WELL MET
“Easton Cole is the perfect book boyfriend in every way!!! Pop the Clutch is an excellent book, but Easton makes it even better.” ~Read the rest of Kay’s Review: Pop the Clutch

**POP THE CLUTCH is a full-length contemporary romance novel from USA Today bestselling author Ellis Leigh writing as Kristin Harte. It’s the first book in the Second Gear series featuring stories of blue collar heroes and second chance romances
Not all people need a second chance at love. Some need a second chance at life.

Violet’s only planning on staying a month, even if the good memories of Downriver have started to overpower the bad, and Easton is dead set on making new ones…together. But the internet is forever, so there’s no chance of Violet having a future unblemished by her past. And when the stain of her damaged reputation resurfaces, Violet knows it could destroy everything around her…including Easton.

About Kristin Harte

Kristin Harte started off as a chemistry major in college but somehow ended up writing romances featuring ex-military heroes and the women who knock them to their knees…literally and figuratively. She likes drinking in the shade, snuggling under a warm blanket on a cold evening, and researching how to blow things up. Her children know nothing of what she writes, and her husband just hopes he’s not at their Chicago-ish home the day the government shows up to confront Kristin about her Google search history.

When not writing good men doing bad things, Kristin can be found writing paranormal romance as Ellis Leigh or co-writing naughty novellas as London Hale.
