Review:
A very dark, new adult, bully romance. This story is full of mystery and secrets that kept me up in the very, very late hours of the night, but I needed answers to lots of questions which were mostly answered, but the brilliant writer that Lindsey is…this is only book one. GAH!! More is yet to come.
Glass Heart Savage, is brutally savage. This book is not for the faint of heart. It is deeply dark and pushes a lot of boundaries. While I spent a lot of time trying to figure out the game that the main players were moving about on the chess board (yes this my analogy), basically who was playing who, or who was the real bad guy? Within the darkness the mystery of the game kept me turning pages. While this is book one and yes, the mystery does continue into book two, the relationship is still evolving between Marek and Palmer, along with the other members of The Glass House; Breaker, Dixon, and Byron.
Palmer is overlooked as the second sister, not only within her family, but also at Glass Heart Academy. Her sister, Reed, popular among the students has been missing now for almost a year, but with no trace and no answers Palmer is left bereft and alone. With so much time gone it seems strange, but suddenly the attention is shifts to her and she takes it with all the knowledge her sister left her to hopefully find clues, or at least feel a part of what her sister felt before she disappeared. She never expected to fall in so deep, but perhaps that was part of the game.
Marek, Breaker, Dixon, and Byron turn their sights on Palmer. The once invisible sister of Glass Heart Academy. Byron appears to be the ring leader among the group, but only holds a loosely bound leash. Dixon, while a brilliant hacker, seems to be the least emotionally involved, but appearances can be deceiving. Breaker is the jokester, the goofy friend, but is that his true identity? Marek is a true enigma. Cool, sweet, deceptive, cruel. Beware of a Trojan horse and all that it brings.
These students are privileged and mostly bored, there is nothing they won’t do to get what they want. So prepare for a rollercoaster ride like you’ve never experienced before.

My sister was their everything. Iβm their nothing.
They waited three hundred and sixty-five days after her disappearance to acknowledge Iβm alive.
Their wicked games should scare me.
Except they donβt know Iβm not much different than her.

Palmer Weston isnβt anything like her sister.
Sheβs sweet and naive. There are plenty of reasons why I should keep my distance.
Except whereβs the fun in that.
Iβm a boy who loves his toys and Iβve kept her on the shelf long enough.
It seems someone is determined on giving Palmer the same fate as her sister.
Problem is Iβve never been good at sharing.
{Glass Heart Savage is the first book in the Glass Heart Academy Series.}
