Fallen Heirs; Windsor Academy #3
(#3 within a series)

Review Rating:

The final culmination of what lies and what truths are real in Fallen Heirs. Finally everyone hiding in the shadows will be brought to light, but will everyone make it out alive?

The delicious and juicy tale between Kingston and Jasmine is finally coming to a head. The years spent collecting evidence against Preston Davenport and Charles Callahan will all be wasted unless they can connect the final dots in this twisted puzzle. Is there a link between Jazz’s mother and Kingston’s? Why do both men leave town so frequently? What does Presley, Kingston’s ex, have to do have to do with any of this? Is Jasmine’s wicked stepmother a key player?

There are so many questions without enough answers and they are running out of time. But, don’t worry, all of these questions will get answered and you be shocked to find out what are truths and who is behind everything. The boiling point is here and the stakes couldn’t be higher, who will pay the ultimate sacrifice?

Is there really a future for Kingston and Jazz at the end of all of this of has she just been a pawn in a sick, twisted game from the very beginning?

If you’ve loved the series up to this point then you will not be disappointed in the end.

Oh, what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive…

Pretty, pretentious little liars.

I’m surrounded by them everywhere I turn.

But I’m learning not everything is as it seems.

The ones who I thought were my enemies have become my greatest allies. And the ones who I severely underestimated turned out to be much eviler than I could’ve ever imagined.

They say money can’t buy happiness. Well…I’m here to tell you, it can certainly broker a deal with a devil.

And the funny thing about dealing with devils? They always come to collect. Too bad for them, I’m going to put up one helluva fight.

I’m stronger.

I’m ready.

And I’m going to love watching them fall.

I Promise You
(An interconnected standalone)

by: Ilsa Madden-Mills

Review Rating:

I am a hot mess after finishing this book. Dillon and Serena made me laugh, made my heart race, and made me cry just to name a few of the emotions that I ran through while reading. Their story was about trust, friendship and the family that you create, not the one that you are born into. Their lives will touch you in the most profound way and certainly make you smile as well.

Both Serena and Dillon are guarded with their hearts, but in very different fashions. They have both loved and lost along the way while building walls around their hearts, but they each have grieved and handled those losses in different ways. When they finally meet up again, not only is the moment hilarious (in the best way Ilsa knows how to make those moments), but she gives us insight into Serena’s quirky personality that has no problem going head to head with Dillon’s football over inflated ego. Their verbal sparring is fantastic!!! Lighting up the page their chemistry is not only funny, but magnetic as they sizzle for one another until the moment they finally give in.

While guarding their hearts as best as they can, they bicker back and forth in the best comedic way possible. It’s almost impossible to stay away, especially when the fates keep pulling them together. Their “dates” are some of the most adorable and creative moments I’ve ever read in which Dillon tries to spend time with Serena, but truly it shows what a soft heart Dillon has not only for Serena, but for the family he has created in his life. You see, he is the one who was bewitched by her at the bonfire and now can’t seem to stay away, and now that he’s found her again he doesn’t want to lose her, but does Serena want to be kept?

Ilsa has a gift for writing big tough sports hero’s with the biggest, gooeyiest centers. It’s nearly impossible to fall head over tush in love with big heart emoji eyes for her heros every single time. I also adore her quirky and sassy heroines. There is something so real about being yourself and connecting with a girl who talks to herself while shopping, yes, I can completely place myself in Serena’s shoes in that scenario.

There is so much to love about this book. I could go on for much longer, but it really comes down to…I Promise You will make you smile, laugh, cry and touch your heart.

WSJ bestselling author Ilsa Madden-Mills returns with an all-new swoony romance between the football hottie and the mystery girl he kissed years before.

Dillon McQueen: Babe. I promise. You want me.
Serena Jensen: Um, who are you?

There’s a legend at Waylon University: the first girl you kiss freshman year at the bonfire party is the one you’ll never forget. She’ll crawl under your skin and never leave. She’ll spark a passion so fierce you’ll burn the world down to possess her.

You might even put a ring on it.

As in all things with fate, timing is everything. That kiss can go horribly wrong. She might run in the opposite direction. And boy, did Serena run.

Dillon is Waylon’s hotshot quarterback with something to prove. All he wants is to graduate and make it to the NFL. What he doesn’t need is to finally meet the mystery girl he kissed at the bonfire freshman year. Isn’t it enough that she’s haunted his dreams for more than a thousand nights?

Fate laughs in his face when he runs into the quirky girl at the Piggly Wiggly. Surrounded by his entourage, he’s got all the Oreos in his cart; she gets revenge by buying every six-pack of his favorite beer.

Obviously, that legend is a curse. She’s not his type. She hates him. Worst of all, how can she not remember him when she left a Serena-shaped hole in his heart for the past three years?

So why can’t he stop trying to win her?

Will this quarterback score the girl or make the biggest fumble of his life?
