I was on the edge of my seat the entire time wondering what was going to happen and if Christopher and Ember were going to live, GAH!! I loved every moment of it!

Papa Rich is one demented man who has held Ember captive for the past twenty years, but her story is twisted in a “this is why I never took my eyes off my kids when they were young” kind of way and when Christopher trespasses on Richard’s property he has no idea that his life is about to radically change by being kidnapped by a deranged madman who is about to force him to marry his captive daughter.

This entire book is crazy good. A total psychological thrill ride with a madman steering the ship and two souls who may never have met under normal circumstances, but grow close under duress.

This is the first book on this crazy ride and ends on a cliffhanger. I can hardly wait to pick up where Christopher and Ember left me hanging.
