My Kind of Perfect; Finding Love #3
(An interconnected standalone)
Publication Date: May 27, 2021
Genre/Tropes: Roommate/Friends-to-Lovers/Contemporary Romance
Author: Nikki Ash
Review/Synopsis:
Sweet and romantic and the perfect couple to round out the Finding Love series.
Chase and Georgia are roommates sort of by circumstance. When Chase’s marriage fell apart he originally began sleeping on the coach of his best friend’s apartment (where Georgia was also living with her sister), but when Alec and Lexi fell in love and moved out Chase moved from the couch into a now empty bedroom.
While Georgia and Chase weren’t exactly friends at the time, it was certainly easier to live with someone familiar than finding a new roommate and starting all over again. Crossing boundaries and forging a friendship eventually began, but along the way, Chase and Georgia found something greater than they ever expected. Not exactly a perfect path, but it was their path which made it perfect for the two of them.
Letting down your walls and letting someone in isn’t always easy, especially when you have emotional baggage. Chase was crushed from his divorce and Georgia was looking for something wrapped up in perfect due to her upbringing. Chase isn’t looking for forever and Georgia is a long term girl. These two are complete opposites when it comes to love, but their friendship grows so strong it’s hard not to see where they could go in the future. Eventually their hearts catch up, but their perfect road is windy and twisted.
Chase certainly brought out the best in Georgia, she came out of her shell and discovered new sides of herself all thanks to his encouragement. The same can be said for Georgia calming Chase and finding the good man he was before his marriage blew up. It says a lot about a person when they bring out the best qualities in you and not only enhance them but highlight them in the best way possible. Chase and Georgia did that for each other bringing joy back into their lives while they also discovered new things about themselves.
The story really flowed and made my heart soar, with a few heart stopping moments, but overall a beautiful story.
