Review:
Finished Good Intentions with a HUGE smile on my face!! It was hawt, adorable, it was hawdorable and so freakin smexy. Gabe and Marcus are going down as two of my favorite characters that Ella Frank has ever written!
The cover models are completely spot on…it was so easy…so, so easy to picture the smexy characters in my head throughout the entire duet. The hawdorable couple was charming every moment throughout every chapter, I was lost in Ella’s world and never wanted to return, hence the huge smile on my face by the very end. Speaking of which, the ending was everything but cliche, it was absolute perfection!
Ella Frank has fast become a one click MM author for me. She captures all the emotions, the super steamy times and flushes out the character development to perfection. It makes each book enjoyable from cover to cover.
Gabe and Marcus’ story is one I know I will remember for lots of reasons. First and foremost though will be Gabe’s fun and flirty personality that melts Marcus’ icy demeanor. Much like Beauty and Beast, but infused with a forbidden theme, this duet is about a man who thought at age forty-two his life would only ever be about work and would never involve love, but found his life was better when he met his soulmate, his other half, in Gabe, a man with an old soul, but also half his age.
These two will bring a smile to your face, heat your heart, along with other parts of your body, and live long in your soul. A must read!
Synopsis:
I was never the man who believed in love, romance, or happily ever afters. I was married to my work, and happy to be that way. Until one night, not too long ago, when an audacious young man lied his way into my life and showed me what I’d been missing.
Bold and sexy, with a face that could melt through the iciest of exteriors, Gabriel Romero is the one factor I never saw coming. There are so many reasons we shouldn’t work—my age, his, our career goals in life—and yet we are drawn together by a passion for music, and each other, that neither of us can deny.
I’ve always been the one to think things through, to follow my head instead of my heart. But if I don’t open myself to what’s possible, instead of thinking of all the ways this seems impossible, I might miss out on the best thing that has ever happened to me.
So I’m taking a chance, and laying myself at his mercy, opening my heart with nothing but good intentions. Only time will tell if Gabriel Romero decides to let me back in.
Book 1, Bad Intentions, needs to be read first for the best enjoyment, so check out Intentions Duet Series and know that it’s best to read them in order:
