A cute contemporary romance full of steam and lots of chemistry.

Private Player begins where Nathan and Madison meet at a wedding and their meet-cute turns into a very steamy one-night stand. Neither one ever thought they would meet again, much less that Madison would be the journalist who would be assigned to Nathan as the writer to turn around his playboy image. So far he is not off to a great start.

Madison needs her job at The Post and she cannot give up her new assignment just because she happens to know Nathan a little more personally than most people. They both agree to keep their one night of passion on the DL while she covers this expose, but will they be able to actually keep their hands, mouths, and other body parts to themselves as well?

I liked that they both needed each other to survive the otherside of the PR nightmare, while they were both fighting their attraction.

Private Player takes place in England so it is full of British terminology, that I actually enjoyed, but if that isn’t your jam you might want to skip this one. However, if you love hearing about knickers, jumpers, or lifts then this is for you.

4.5 stars overall.

The first time I meet Madison Shore, I’m greeted by her knickers. She’s upside down and trying to untangle herself from my chair at a wedding.

I get to see a whole lot more of her later that night.

The second time I meet Madison Shore is in my London office. Turns out she’s a journalist writing an article about me.

To keep control of my company, I need to convince people I’m more serious about business than my playboy reputation suggests. Madison holds my future in her hands.

Now I just need to convince the woman I took to bed on Saturday night that I’m not the player everyone thinks I am.
