Hat Trick
(A standalone)
Publication Date: August 5, 2021
Genre/Tropes: Romantic Comedy/Sports Romance
Author: Coralee June and Carrie Gray
Review/Synopsis:
Coralee and Carrie are a flawless writing duo extraordinaire! Hat Trick is brilliantly funny, charmingly witty, and full of hot, sweaty hockey players – a hat trick of awesome reading!
Peyton is looking to restart her life after her boyfriend cheats on her. She needs a new job, a place to live, and of course to wash her cheating ex right out of her life. It’s easier said than done when she works in the same industry, meaning her life revolves around hockey and her ex is a hockey player, but upon the precipice of gaining her life back Peyton may jump off the deep end for a hot second. That hot mess moment might involve a few hot hockey players that skate for a rival team she was recently hired at…oh, and to top off the crazy mess of her life, she is not supposed to fraternize with the players. Hello dumpster, meet fire.
Hat Trick is funny and engaging in how Peyton deals with the new relationships revolving around Joni, Noah, and Hatch (relationships that she is 100% supposed to keep platonic). Each man is different and while all are on the same team, each has a completely different experience involving Peyton.
Did I mention motorboating? LOL!! It’s so funny, but Peyton will need brain bleach to forget it.
It is difficult to pinpoint who Peyton will fall for by the end while she spends time with each man in completely different ways; whether it is doing work related things, just hanging out, or holding back when trying not to kill one of them.
Hat Trick is a romp-roaring good time that is impossible to put down. Don’t miss it!
Synopsis:
My hockey star boyfriend cheated on me with not one, but THREE puck bunnies. In. The. Same. Night.
Hat Trick, Motherpucker.
I was mad, okay? Furious. I gave up the career of my dreams for him and how did he repay me? I just wanted to make him hurt as much as he hurt me. So, I slept with a couple hockey stars of my own. From a rival team. Oops. The best cure for a broken heart is an orgasm.
Joni, Noah, and Hatch eased the sting of my cheating ex. It was the perfect rebound no-strings-attached arrangement. Now I’ve got three hockey players comparing sticks.
One is nothing but a hookup. One is a stage-five clinger. One is trying to get me fired from my new job.
And…H E double hockey sticks, one of them could possibly be the love of my life.
This is one Hat Trick to remember.
