The first half of this duet is sooooo steamy, the second half is heart pounding emotional, together this story is phenomenal.

Winning With Him picks up right where we left Grant and Declan, but Lauren brings us that heart stopping moment where Grant’s heart was smashed. However, this time it’s from Declan’s POV and why he had to let the best man he’s ever known go.

Winning With Him takes us from spring training where these two fell in love and spans over five years with so many touching moments and moments that will rip your heart out. There is a constant back and forth, pull and tug throughout the years with baseball always at the center, after all that was the agreement when they first met. Nothing would stand in the way of their career, especially love.

As much as I love Blakely’s romcom’s, I really love when Lauren delves deeper into her emotional writing. She brings out passion and depth in her characters which made this duet a steller read.
