Review:
An exciting, non-stop ride from start to finish! Mark of Stars ramped up the steam, action, and angst.
As Rowan and her mates begin to bond, she’s plagued with doubt not only over their feelings for her, but also over her growing powers. No one seems to understand what exactly she is because everytime they try to label it she evolves. The only solace she feels is when she’s with her mates, but she has so many doubts about that too. Do they like her for her or the mating bond?
Feeling forced into bonding isn’t something she wished upon them, even when they assure her it isn’t like that at all. Even Vaughn, the one mate who takes bonding the hardest and would break it if he could. However, he’s also all growly and grouchy and the fiercest when anything comes close to hurting Rowan. Be still my heart.
Each bond mate not only has his own unique power, but also his own personality when it comes to cuddling or talking with Ro. I like how they all uniquely bond with her and have their own individual time along with time together which is super hot.
The plot never slows, it’s quickly paced and you’d wonder how they ever have time to eat or sleep, but it does happen. Cuddling between the five of them would seem impossible, but they make it work and I love that I can visualize everything that Rowan is experiencing. It is only told through her POV, but having the story told this way only gives more suspense to the plot.
This entire series has been very well written and I can hardly wait for the continuation of this amazing series.
