Book 4 out of 4
This is a medium burn reverse harem where the leading character will not have to choose between her men. It is an 18+ book that has strong language, sexual situations, along with darker material such as torture, violence, and some matters pertaining to the fragility of life.
Elizabeth is originally from Illinois but is now living in the sunny Phoenix AZ. Though she is newer to publishing, Elizabeth has been writing for nine years. She started out in YA Fiction but recently found herself loving the Reverse Harem genre. Like her favorite books, Elizabeth loves to write strong women of all varieties. Not all strength is flashy or apparent at first glanceโsome lies just under the surface.
Ruin is off to a great start and I already want more! I want to dig into all the secrets, I definitely want more of the bad boy Zach and tenderhearted Diesel. Both of these men have layers that I want to peel back to find more of what they hold. Then there is Jax…that boy is the holding both secrets and problems and I want to find out if he is going to join in on what Zach and Diesel have already unlocked within River?
Whew, speaking of River, she is both lucky and in a ton of trouble with these men. They are tearing her apart emotionally while also denying themselves what could be a wonderful connection. At the same time, River is surrounded by people who have stable and perfect relationships and her heart aches everyday to have something just like that. She hates to admit that it hurts to see her family so happy when she isn’t and she doesn’t know why she’s drawn to men who continue to reject her.
While Zach and River burn the hottest in this first book….and wow, are they hawt…my heart broke for River with the other two guys. River isn’t your typical MC princess and didn’t grow up in this world, but there is still a fire inside her that comes out and I love when she releases it.
Red Ridge Sinners is an interconnected, standalone. Perfect for fans of Caitlyn Dare, but also perfect for any new readers just picking up this series.ย I can hardly wait for the next book!

Review:
This new Savage U series is AMAZING, fantastic, and so friggin’ good!!!! Helen was everything I’d been waiting for and Theo was absolutely delicious.
Theo was unexpected in his own form of broken, but also the perfect knight in unshiny armor for bada$$ Helen. Their perfect storm of a little bit crazy fit perfectly together and I loved this story which was perfect for both of them from start to finish.
Helen is a character that I’ve grown to know through Julia’s Savage High books. She’s fierce, loyal, and doesn’t take crap from anyone. Growing up on the wrong side of town, scraping by, with a mother that gave up, Helen grew up at a young age and eventually took over care of her younger sister too. With her take charge attitude I was anxious to know what boy would be up to the challenge of being perfect for Helen. Interestingly enough it was a boy who shot through her sharp defenses, tore down her tall walls, and poked into her soft center. Helen is a beautiful creature whether she’s soft or hard and Theo was the boy who discovered all of her sides.
Theo is so beautifully broken in his own way. He seems like the perfect, beautiful rich boy, but there are deep, deep layers to his facade. Just like Helen wears her sharp, pointy layers as armor, Theo wears his twinkly eyes and sweet smile to hide things too. He’s under his father’s thumb, recently out from a long term relationship and trying to figure out his life after wrestling. Theo is going through the motions of school and a beautiful Tiger named Helen just might lead him on the right path, or she might lead him down the wrong one.
It takes a certain level of trust to let someone in and not let that trust go unwarranted. Secrets can be scattered and trust can be broken. It’s hard to gather those secrets once they’ve been let loose or glue up broken trust. You will always see the crack and the wind always carries words. Neither Theo or Helen trust easily, but together they are stronger than they are apart. That is if they really want to be together.
Soft Like Thunder is the perfect introduction to this new university world. It not only links the past high school characters for fan favorites, like me, but is a total standalone introducing new characters and a new world to fall in love with. Julia’s writing just continues to get better and better and this book is proof of that.
Synopsis: Helen. What a sweet name for a girl who is anything but.
The first time I laid eyes on Theo Whitlock, I chased him and his frat boy friends with a bat.
Iโm no white knight.
Iโm broke. Heโs rich. I destroyed his car. He chooses not to rat me out.
I was never supposed to go to college, but especially not one like Savage U, where only the wealthiest need apply. One might call this a lucky break, only I donโt feel so lucky with a drug dealer breathing down my neck, and a gangster threatening to burn my house down.
You have a face that could launch a thousand ships.
Theo and I donโt make sense, but being with him feels good, and I need more than my books and classes to distract me from the chaos and violence in my life.
I know youโre my good girl. Arenโt you, Helen? Tell me.
Weโre casual. No complications. We have to be. Iโm keeping secrets, and I have a feeling behind Theo Whitlockโs twinkly blue eyes is a whole world of darkness.
Do you think about me?
Too muchโฆ
Did I hurt you?
He will…if the other savages donโt get to me first.
(Savage U is a spin-off of The Savage Crew, but can be read as a standalone!)

Everything I’d hoped for in this newest addition to the Clermont Bay series and sooooo much more!!
It is all the newfound excitement found in first touches and kisses, stolen moments and secret getaways. When your heart races with across the room glances and light finger touches. Holly Renee doesn’t miss a moment of this all consuming passion that burns between Olly and Frankie while making it leap off the pages.
What Olly and Frankie feel for one another is a temptation that has been smoldering between them for years. That smolder burned right off the pages and kept me reading late into the night. This book was everything I’d hoped for and more.
Their secrets and lies had my heart beating so fast…oh my gracious, by the end I thought my heart was going to beat out of my chest!!
This is Olly and Frankie! These two need each other like they both need air, but so much stands between them. Family, friends, the entire US.There are so many layers and obstacles, but will their love conquer all of it?
Olly and Frankie had been friends for years, while Olly had also been Frankie’s protector and sort of surrogate older brother while growing up, Olly’s feelings began to change as they rounded into their teenage years. However, since Olly was best friends with Frankie’s brother, Beck, he wasn’t about to throw that away, especially after Lucas’ attack on Frankie. Lucas obliterated everything between them and Olly wasn’t going to make that same mistake. Beck and Frankie were too important to him to jeopardize throwing away years of friendship. These people were basically his family.
Frankie refused to live in the shadow of being the broken girl forever. She didn’t want what Lucas did to her to define her for the rest of her life. She didn’t know when it changed, just that it did, her feelings towards Olly went from brotherly to lust filled over time. She never thought he felt the same until the summer before he was ready to leave for college. By then it was almost too late. Frankie decided to take the last few weeks of summer and gain back control of her life and stop being the pity girl and finally start living. That choice will either be the best decision or crush everyone in her path.
This is just the first part of the duet and I’m dying until the next part. Find me on my deathbed waiting to be revived.
Synopsis:
Devoted. Loyal. Shameless. The Boys of Clermont Bay had been my protectors for as long as I could remember.
And Olly Warner took the job to heart.
He was intense and all-consuming, and I had been in love with him for years.
Alarmingly handsome and recklessly charming, he attempted to deny there was ever anything between us.
But we slipped over that invisible line, and the moment we gave in, something fractured.
He was leaving regardless, and I couldnโt hang on tight enough for the both of us.
Olly had always been the boy I could never have, but I couldnโt help losing myself in him.
A searing affair, the guarantee of a broken heart, and the desperation of careless promises.
Olly and I were never meant to be, and we had become nothing more than a pretty lie.

When the baby-making ends will something else begin?
Josh and Gemma Make a Baby, an all new laugh-out-loud friends-to-lovers romantic comedy from bestselling author Sarah Ready is available now!
New Yearโs Resolution: Have a baby Preferably with Josh Lewenthal
Meet Gemma Jacobs. Sheโs driven, energetic, and a positive thinker. She has a great career working for famed self-help guru Ian Fortune, she lives in a cute studio apartment in Manhattan, and her family is supportive and loving (albeit a little kooky). Her life is perfect. Absolutely wonderful.
Except for one tiny little thing.
After a decade of disastrous relationships and an infertility diagnosis, Gemma doesnโt want a Mr. Right (or even a Mr. Right Now), she just wants a baby.
And all she needs is an egg, some sperm, and IVF.
So Gemma makes a New Yearโs resolution: have a baby.
Josh Lewenthal is a laid back, relaxed, find-the-humor-in-life kind of guy. The polar opposite of Gemma. Heโs also her brotherโs best friend. For the past twenty years Josh has attended every Jacobsโ family birthday, holiday, and event โ heโs always around.
Gemma knows him. Heโs nice (enough), heโs funny (-ish), heโs healthy (she thinks) and he didnโt burn any ants with a magnifying glass as a kid. Which, in Gemmaโs mind, makes him the perfect option for a sperm donor.
So Gemma wants to make a deal. An unemotional, business-like arrangement. No commitments, just a baby.
To Gemmaโs surprise, Josh agrees.
They have nothing in common, except their agreement to make a baby and their desire to keep things businesslike.
But the thing about baby-makingโฆitโs hard to keep it businesslike, itโs nearly impossible to keep it unemotional, and itโs definitely impossible to keep your heart out of the mix. Because when youโre making a baby together, things have a way of starting to feel like youโre making other things too โ like a life, and a family, and love. And when the baby-making ends, you wish that everything else didnโt have to end too.
Josh is on my bed. What the heck? Itโs like he has some sort of super-psychic power that lets him know when a woman needs him. I think about him stealing my undies all those years ago and I realize that yes, he probably does have a secret power. Some sort of man radarโmandar. We havenโt really spoken in years, except for the casual greeting at the New Yearโs party or a โhi, how are youโ at a random friends and family get together. Yet here he is, right when I need him. I step into my bedroom and shut the door. Josh is spread out on my pink lace coverlet, his arms behind his head, and his legs crossedโthe picture of relaxation. Heโs in his standard outfit, faded jeans and a tight T-shirt depicting some obscure graphic novel character. His black hair needs a trim and he has at least two daysโ worth of dark stubble on his face. Even though Iโm indifferent to him as a person and I know for a fact heโs not my type, my lady parts still clench. Heโs that good looking. He smirks at me, like he knows the effect heโs having. Hereโs the thing about Josh, heโs completely unable to take life seriously. Itโs like the whole universe is a funny joke to him, and heโs just living his life so he can be amused. When he graduated from high school he was voted the most likely to succeed. He was captain of the football team, the basketball team, homecoming king and the valedictorian. Everyone thought he was going places. Especially me. After he graduated from college he took a job at a tech start-up, worked his way up the ranks to VP, and then according to my brother, he just woke up one day and decided to quit. He walked into the office, took a box out of the supply closet, packed up his desk, and walked out. Ever since then heโs been doing his web comic thing. But I guess if heโs living with his dad again, itโs not going all that well. I look him over. The thing is, Iโm not sussing him out as a prospective husband, I donโt care about his career goals, how big his paycheck is, or whether he lives in his dadโs basement. I donโt care about his potential or non-potential as a life mate. Iโm thinking about his genetics. And his genetics are just fine. I close the door with a sharp snick. โWhat are you doing on my bed?โ I ask. His eyes, always full of sharp intelligence, take in my sauce-covered dress and the blush still lingering on my cheeks. โWhat are you doing covered in barbecue?โ A small smile flits over his lips and his forehead wrinkles as he takes in my appearance. My outfit from earlier is folded in a neat pile and sitting on my dresser. Josh starts to stand up. โStay there. I need to talk to you.โ I decide that rather than risk him leaving while I change, Iโll talk to him covered in sauce. โAlright.โ He scoots over and pats my bed. I give him a look and he shrugs. โSorry. I was up all night finishing a storyboard. Whenever I stayed the night with Dylan, your mom would always give me your bed to sleep in. I didnโt think, it just seemed natural toโฆโ He trails off when he sees the expression on my face. Iโm not sure how I feel about the fact that Josh has apparently been sleeping in my childhood bedroom for years. I look at my dresser and realize that my teenage diary is in the top drawer hidden under my underwear. My skin prickles with, yup, thatโs embarrassment. I look at the dresser then at Josh, but he doesnโt seem any different than usual. Maybe heโs not a snooper. Probably, yes, probably he never read it. Because if he hadโฆerrrโฆmy teenage self was not shy about fantasizing about him. I settle onto the mattress next to him. He clears his throat and scoots over. โSo whatโs up?โ Oh God. Am I really going to do this? Can I do this? It seemed perfectly reasonable and normal when I was planning it out after my doctorโs appointment. I looked more into donor sperm and weighed the benefits and detriments of donor versus Josh. Every way I looked at it, Josh came out on top. He gives me a funny look. โGemma? Whatโs up? You alright?โ โI need your sperm,โ I blurt out. Josh starts to choke, then he coughs. His face turns red and he hits his chest. Oh no. Iโve killed him. He coughs and his eyes water. I slap his back and he shakes his head. Maybe I shouldnโt have just blurted it out like that, but I was nervous and I didnโt think. Finally, he takes a wheezing breath and says, โCome again?โ โIโฆI need your sperm?โ I smile at him. The look he gives me makes my hand fly to my mouth in an effort to contain the laugh bubbling up from my chest. Oh jeez, Iโve lost my brain. I shouldโve written talking points or a speech or something. โYou want to have sex?โ Josh asks. He looks really confused. โGemma. You really have to work on your pick-up lines.โ I shake my head. But heโs already starting to lift his shirt up. I catch a glimpse of rock-hard abs. โIf you want to, we can. But weโll have to hurry. The New Yearโs Resolution reading is soon. We have maybe ten minutes. Not that I canโt blow your mind in ten minutes.โ I scoot back and make a strangled sound. He takes in my expression and starts to snicker. โKidding. Gemma, Iโm kidding,โ he says, and he drops his shirt. I nod and blow out a long, mind-clearing breath. โSorry, I didnโt say that right. What I meant to say was, ummm, weโve known each other a long time.โ โTwenty-four years,โ he agrees. โRight. We grew up in the same town. Went to the same school. Youโre my brotherโs best friend. You come to our holiday parties, birthdays. Youโre always around.โ I scrutinize his face to see if he gets where Iโm going. Unfortunately, he just looks confused. โI feel like I know you pretty well. I can say that youโre a decent guy.โ He frowns. โThanks.โ โIf I ask you something, do you promise not to tell Dylan, or anybody?โ Josh leans back and studies me. โGem, I donโt think we should have sex.โ I close my eyes. โNo. No, jeez. Obviously. Ugh, did it once, got the T-shirt.โ I open one eye and look at him, then I open the other. He grins at me. โThe T-shirt huh?โ

The Difference Between Somebody and Someone, the first book in the The Difference Trilogy, filled with emotional twists and turns from USA Today bestselling author Aly Martinez, is now live!
The world owes you nothing.
It took losing the woman I loved and facing the paralyzing task of moving on without her for me to truly understand that.
Consumed by regret and razor-sharp memories, Iโd resigned myself to a life of loneliness until a survivor from the same plane crash that took my fiancรฉe stormed into my life.
Remi Grey was chaos and sunshine, fire and freedom. With her in my arms, I began to believe that fate had other plans for me.
But as secrets of the past exploded around us, it seemed the only thing fated about our relationship was that I had been destined to lose her from the start.
The world owes you nothing. But for Remi, I would risk it all. No matter the cost.
About Aly Originally from Savannah, Georgia, USA Today bestselling author Aly Martinez now lives in South Carolina with her four hilarious children. Never one to take herself too seriously, she enjoys movies that can surprise her with a twist, charcuterie boards, and her mildly neurotic golden retriever. It should be known, however, that she hates pizza and ice cream, almost as much as writing her bio in the third person. She passes what little free time she has reading anything and everything she can get her hands on, preferably with a glass of wine by her side.
TEAGAN HUNTER is a Missouri-raised gal but currently lives in South Carolina with her Marine veteran husband, where she spends her days begging him for a cat. She survives off coffee, pizza, and sarcasm. When she’s not writing, you can find her binge-watching various TV shows, especially Supernatural and One Tree Hill. She enjoys cold weather, buys more paperbacks than she’ll ever read, and never says no to brownies.
Super cute, close proximity, single mom romance. Every few books Marie James writes a story that contains adorable children and this happens to be one of them. Actually this book contains three super cute kids and it only enhanced the story making it that much better. I loved the kids and I loved the Irish man and I just loved this book!
Kendall is a single mom, trying her best to raise her three small kids on her own, but after losing her home, she had to move in with her brother. When the neighbor complained about the noise, they were suddenly served with their second eviction notice and Kendall didn’t know what to do. They didn’t have any family left and she was soon going to be homeless. She thought about apologizing to the neighbor, but since they were already being evicted, that thought went right out the door, so instead Kendall went with giving him a piece of her mind…especially since he’d been flirting with her for weeks.
Finnegan seriously had no idea that the woman he’d been flirting with in the apartment building gym was the same woman who lived on his floor and was responsible for all the recent noise. He might have reconsidered making the complaint, or reconsidered flirting, he wasn’t exactly sure, but either way he felt bad. He felt so bad that he made an offer for her to move in with him since she had nowhere else to go. The fact that she came with baggage….um….He was only half serious about the offer, so he shouldn’t have been surprised when she took him up on it. He really liked her, her kids…um….how long were they staying again?
This story is all kinds of adorable, with a bit of intrigue mixed in. After all this is a Blackbridge Security novel. Of course there are character favorites who make appearances, my personal favorites are Wren and Whitney who add some extra spice, and extra, extra spice…Puff Daddy gets a girlfriend. It’s hilarious.
While Finn hangs out with some of the single guys (there don’t seem like there are too many of those left) there are a few hints of what’s to come and there are brief catch ups for fans of past characters. I love both of these scenarios sooooo much and Marie James did the perfect amount of each while keeping the plot moving right along.
Kendall’s kiddos had the perfect blend of sassy and cuteness without being terrors or taking away from the time that Finn and Kendall needed to get to know one another. Could we be seeing more Blackbridge children in the future? If Wren has his way…yes. LOL!
Synopsis:
As the mechanic for Blackbridge Security, when I make a mistake things donโt work properly.
Correcting that mistake is the only way to get things operational.
I meet issues in my personal life with the same mindset.
How was I to know the woman Iโve been flirting with at the gym is the same woman I called a noise complaint on?
I got her kicked out of her condo.
My first response:ย Move in with me.
When she confessed to having three kids, it was too late to back down.
I thought keeping my hands off of her was going to be a problem, but the tiny terrors she brought along with her are extremely effective at solving that problem for me.

ALL THE FEELS!!!! Laughter, tears, major heartstrings being pulled, The Final Play has it all!
Amie Knight made my heart race from the very beginning of this book while I was blinking back tears. Then it wasn’t long until I was laughing maniacally from one chapter to the next. Amie brought out all my feelings while reading the journey of Mason, Glory and even Max through this final book in the Summerville series.
Mason and Max are identical twins, but like a lot of siblings, they are complete opposites in personality. Mason is an NFL linebacker whereas Max is just beginning a two year stint in jail. It truly pains Mason that Max is taking such a hard road though his life. Mason is a protector, a nurturer and has sort of a hero complex by nature. So when a tiny little tornado lands on his doorstep claiming to be pregnant with Max’s baby, Mason’s inner instinct takes over.
Glory is tiny, but mighty in spirit. She has no family, no job and it took her months to try and track down any information on the man who left her with the present from a weekend of fun. Asking Max’s brother for help was her last hope, but she never expected to find more when she landed on his doorstep. Friends, family, and a purpose for after the baby is born.
Glory and Mason’s story is full of every emotion that overflowed and spilled out of my heart. It’s such a wonderful look at family, whether it’s the one you are related to or the one you create through life’s experiences.
It’s almost hard to describe how great this book is, but it truly touched my heart. Yes, it was full of a ton of laughter, which I love, but the emotional depth of this book is what will stay with me for a long time to come.
Synopsis:
The Final Play isnโt always the end. Sometimes, itโs the beginning of something far more beautiful.
As a professional linebacker, I lived and breathed football.
The only thing I loved as much as the game was my twin brother, Max, who kept me almost as busy cleaning up his messes.
The most recent of which landed him behind bars.
So, it shouldnโt have surprised me when a beautiful woman showed up on my doorstep, claiming to be pregnant with Maxโs baby.
Glory was unexpected, infuriating, and flat-out crazy most of the time.
But no matter how hard I tried to deny it, that tiny spitfire slammed into my boring life with the strength of a Category 5 hurricane, blowing through my defenses until sheโd carved her name in my heartโpermanently.
I feared we would never work. She was a single mom, my brotherโs ex, and one more chance for me to fail yet another person I loved.
But if football was my church, then Glory was my heaven.

Coralee June has created a wicked, dark trilogy legacy with Malice, Wrath, and Grudge. I could live in this world and never tire of reading about the Civella family ever!
Each character has changed since the beginning of this wild journey and yet the underlying dark monster that lives right underneath their skin still radiates like a beacon and swirled right off the page drawing readers, like myself, to devour page after page. Coralee’s writing is truly addicting and this story, especially, is pure perfection.
Anthony Civella is still my favorite character in this series. His madness is wrapped up in comedic genius and softer undertones. His underbelly has been on display since the beginning, making him the vulnerable, but also the most volatile never knowing how loose his cannon actually is. This time around he is Juliet’s most stable partner. I know right!! My love for Anthony grew even more, by leaps and bounds, everytime he came on the page. He’s her rock when things get tough, giving her a laugh when she needs it, a kind word, a push, or even darkness when the moment warrants it. He understands her vulnerabilities, he’s been where she’s at and he will always fall with her or rise to where she’s at to be right by her side. Anthony may always be a little mad, but the best people know they are and know how to deal with their madness. Lord, I love that man.
Juliet and Nick, or Malice as a lot of people know him, could have been the king and queen, but Nick realized he didn’t need an entire kingdom to still have his queen by his side. Nick just needed Juliet to be happy. At the end of Wrath, he faced his own mortality, and now he’s facing his own mistakes. There are consequences for a lot of what he’d done and Nick is dealing…almost losing everything has changed a lot in Nick’s life. He’s grown a lot from the first book from the empty shell of Malice, into Nick the man. He’s still possessive and dark and completely alpha, which is super hot…but he’s also a softer Nick which is also super hot!! I love this new version of Nick.
Then we get to William, the man with a grudge. The boy who grew up in the shadow of his older brother, yet also protecting his younger one. Never feeling quite adequate, William now wants it all. The kingdom, Juliet, everything. Can William finally pull out from the shadow of his brother and run things his way or will this motive finally destroy the foundation of everything he’s ever believed? Will every move he makes break Juliet’s heart and destroy his family?ย William, William, William…come on work with your brothers!!
Grudge holds more steam, more tears, more story, just more, more, more. While I can admit it wraps up a fantastic trilogy. I’m also sad that it wraps up a fantastic trilogy because like I stated at the beginning, I could live here forever.
Synopsis:
Malice was a broken man. A leader with a cracked crown.
Guilt was eroding his throne.
William was an opportunist. A man with a grudge.
Ambition dressed in an iron suit.
Anthony was a survivor. A lover with hope.
Healing wrapped in good intentions.
Iโm a pawn, and itโs up to me to remind these men that theyโre stronger together.
I just pray that this fight for power wonโt tear us all apart.

This was my first Elizabeth Knight book. I know….I started at the end of a series, but I easily caught up to the plot of what Viv and her mates were facing and felt the love she shared with all seven (YES, seven) of her men. That would be a lot of laundry to clean, but these men are werewolves and they bust out of their clothes when they shift, sooooo laundry problem solved.
In this final book of the Hope Series and there is a lot of suspense and action. Tracking down the enemy to finally achieving peace takes not only Viv and her seven mates, but the help of wolves throughout the country. This is the time that Viv’s Dama really comes shining through.
Is any of this story plausible? This is a paranormal story, so absolutely not, but there were scenes that certainly had me thinking, even with their paranormal abilities that this group would have needed more time in planning the big attacks that they did. That is truly my opinion and I’m sticking with it.
There are moments that could be sensitive for some readers, regarding motherhood and loss of life, but this is also a fantastical world so I feel Elizabeth kept that in mind when writing those bits.
This is a series that is best read in order, but I did jump in right at the end and enjoyed the final book to this werewolf world.
Synopsis:
The time has come to end this.
No longer will I hide away locked in my own sorrow. Instead, I will channel that pain into righteous fury. Once again Iโm reconnected with my mates, and with new allies who have been dealt the same ruthless hand as meโ finally have the army I need.
The call has been sent out for those who want their pound of flesh to come together.
My enemy isnโt going down without a fight. Every move we make, they follow it up with one of their own. What they donโt know is that with each attack, I gain the knowledge I need, that will aid me in taking them down. We know where they are hiding, and we know the cruel things theyโre still doing to those they claim to protect. That just fuels my thirst for vengeance.
This battle will end in one of two waysโtheir death or oursโand I donโt plan on dying anytime soon.
Book 4 out of 4

Screams in Symphony, the jaw-dropping conclusion to The Malvagio Mafia Duet from USA Today bestselling author Kelsey Clayton, is available now!
โโFrom USA Today bestselling author Kelsey Clayton comes a dark mafia romance filled with pain, betrayal, devastation, revenge, and a mindblowing ending that will have you questioning everything.
There once was a girl, tarnished and ruined by the actions of others. Some are born plagued by darkness, but she was doused in it by those she trusted.
Like Lucifer himself, she fell from the heavens and landed amongst the flames. Now she wears her crown black, with diamonds coated in the blood of her enemies.
This isnโt the story of a girl who saved the villain. This is the story of a girl who became something much worse, and the man who loved her for it.
The second sheโs out the door, Kage is already heading toward me. โWhat the fuck was that, S?โ
It takes everything in my power to hold back my smile, amused with how possessive he is. โI donโt know. Sheโs determined to become my friend.โ
โAnd youโre okay with that?โ
I shrug half-heartedly. โSheโsโฆtolerable. And besides, itโs not like I can go out and find new friends, being dead and all.โ
He stares back at me before shaking his head. โNo. Nope. I donโt like it.โ
Giggling, I stand up and walk toward him, dipping my fingers into his pockets. โI canโt spend the rest of my life with just you and Beni.โ
He cocks a single brow at me. โWho the fuck said Beni is invited?โ
โKage,โ I laugh. โI need other friends.โ
โWhy?โ
Arching up on my tippy-toes, I press a kiss over his heart. โBecause they keep me from wanting to kill you in your sleep.โ
His hands land on my arms, and he moves me away from him so he can look down at me. โHow many times have you considered doing that exactly?โ
โFourโฆโ
โOh,โ he says, relieved.
โโฆteen.โ
Sputtering on air, his jaw drops. โFourteen?โ
I tilt my head side to side. โGive or take a few.โ
โSaxon!โ he groans, his amusement slipping through.
โWhat?โ I ask innocently. โYouโre a little insufferable sometimes.โ
The corners of his mouth raise as he stares down at me. โMm-hm. Great. Iโm sleeping in the panic room from now on.โ
A laugh bubbles out of me as I press my lips to his. โThatโs probably smart.โ

This is the kind of sugar-crack that feeds romcom addicts, like me!! Pure comedic fun is contained within the pages of Group Therapy!
Any fan of BB Easton’s, or any fan of romantic comedy in general, will fall in love with this book. Dr. Luna Sterling and Thomas O’Reardon is a brilliant couple together. Pure, forbidden chemistry with all the comedic timing that made this an unputdownable read.
Lou, as Luna likes to be called, is in the final stages of her physiologist certification and she just might make that final hurdle to her PhD if she can cure Thomas O’Reardon of his writer’s block. Should be easy peasy, he’s a NYT best-selling author after all, how hard can it be?
Lou doesn’t tell anyone that Thomas is her favorite author, or that she might have just the tiniest crush on him. She can be a professional after all. Keep her hands to herself and get him to open up while not fangirling all over him. What she needs is more time spent opening his creativity, but not in an intimate environment….perfect solution, group therapy.
Thomas has six weeks to complete a book that he’s already behind on. Six weeks to complete something that he’s had zero inspiration on. Six weeks to finish a manuscript that he’s felt empty about. Easy…uh…well, he has no idea how therapy can help, but there is something that keeps him coming back to his appointments week after week. It might just be time spent with his therapist, he might want to talk to her about that.
Group Therapy is zany, crazy fun and it’s truly sensational. It’s also refreshing to hear the inner thoughts of a therapist and know that they are human just like the rest of us; a little unsure, a little bit of a mess, and prone to making mistakes. Loved it! Loved it! Loved it!
Synopsis:
From theย Wall Street Journalย bestselling author ofย 44 Chapters About 4 Menย (inspiration for the 4th Most-Watched Netflix Original Series of all time,ย Sex/Life) comes a fun, forbidden romantic comedy about an inexperienced psychologist and her ultra-famous client.
I am thiiiiis close to finally becoming a full-fledged psychologist. PhD? Check. Prestigious postdoc position, providing therapy to entitled millionaires and C-list celebrities whose pumpkin spice lattes cost more than my Converse and make excellent projectiles during their reality TVโworthy tantrums? Check. Letter of recommendation from my velociraptor-like supervisor?
Thatโsย going to take a miracle. Not only because my boss said I have to cure our most-prized clientโs writerโs block in time for him to meet his insane deadline, but also because that client just so happens to be โฆ
Thomas F*@%ing OโReardon.
Yeah,ย thatย Thomas OโReardon. The wickedly brilliant, achingly beautiful, devastatingly British best-selling author whose psychological thrillers line my bookshelf at home and whose face I might or might not picture while I โฆ you get the point. Sitting in a confined space with him; inhaling the crisp, clean scent of his cologne; gazing into his broody blue eyes while trying to remember to nod and listen and come up with suggestions that donโt involve taking our clothes off โฆ itโs torture.
So, when Thomas casually asks me out at the end of a therapy session, Iโm forced to make an impossible choice: say yes and risk losing my dream job, or say no and risk losing my dream guy. In a panic, I blurt out a third optionโthe only solution I can think of that will allow me to see this man after hours without it being considered a career-ending ethics violation:
Group therapy.
The only problem? Iโve never actually done group therapy. And side problem: my other clients are heathens. But whatโs the worst that could happen? I mean, itโs not like Iโm going to lose all control of the group and let it devolve into a chaotic, bloodthirsty, topless fight club.
Right?

Before writing steamy romantic comedy novels, Kayley Loring got a BFA in creative writing and had a fifteen-year career as a screenwriter in Los Angeles (under a different name). She mostly wrote PG-13 family comedies that studios would pay her lots of money for and then never make into movies. In 2017 she decided to move to the Pacific Northwest and write about all the fun stuff that she wasn’t allowed to write about in those PG-13 scripts. Now sheโs an Amazon Top 25 bestselling author who is breathing cleaner air and writing dirtier words. Itโs an adjustment sheโs happily getting used to.
Rest assured that her funny sexy sweet romances have no cheating or cliffhangers, and always have HEAs!

From alphas to bosses to cocky sports stars (a particular favorite), he loves sparring with beautiful, sassy heroines (and their talented narrators) but also loves winning them over and reaching that happily ever after. An insta-attraction, slow-burn romance with a protective cop….oooooh yeah!!
Zander Landry is super adorable. He secretly reads romance books and his inner monologue regarding all of the romantic thoughts that twist around the new blonde in town are so funny. He may just be my favorite Landry yet.
Zander is very aware of the Landry love curse. He’s been a first hand witness to all of his family members falling in love one by one, so when he first meets Caroline, he isn’t shocked of feeling big things. However, he still fights getting stuck in love because he’s very happy being a bachelor. Zander is also very aware of all of the romantic feelings with all of the romance books he reads. He’s no dummy, but he continually berates himself that he needs to switch up his reading to something else. It’s hilarious.
Zander is uber protective of his town, his family, and even Caroline the moment she steps foot in Autre. It’s in his nature to make sure everyone who enters his town is safe and that no funny business happens while strangers are there. Caroline definitely brings danger, funny business, and a hot package all wrapped up in one. The quicker she leaves the better he’ll feel, he hopes.
Caroline is super cute and no dummy. She just might be the perfect fit for not only Zander, but the entire big, boisterous Landry family. Zander needs to work fast on getting her out of his town if he wants to keep his bachelor status. LOL.
I loved, loved, loved this new addition to the Boys of Bayou collection and don’t worry this isn’t exactly the end of this beloved family. Erin gives us a peek into where she’s taking the Bayou Boys and I’m really excited on the new adventure.
Synopsis:
What happens when a hellraiser turned hot cop is stuck with a headstrong heiress heโs determined to protect…and resist?
A run-away bride, wearing a freakinโ tiara, and carrying a stolen lion cub, of all things. This was not how rowdy, bad-boy-turned-small-town-cop, Zander Landry expected his day to go.
He really didnโt expect his night to end with her sleeping in his bed after her near-kidnapping.
But his intense attraction to her and the feelings of protectiveness she stirs up? Oh, yeah, he knew those were coming.
Sheโs stunning, whip-smart, and trouble with a capital T.
Which means, he needs her to head right back the way she came. ASAP.
His town is exactly the way he wants it . . . crazy and trouble free.
Well, the crazy trouble heโs not related to anyway.
Stranded in a tiny town in her half-million-dollar wedding gown with no money and no place to go . . . today is going pretty much exactly the way Caroline Holland expected it to.
But the grumpy, tattooed, oh-my-god hot cop being the answer to all her problems isnโt at all what she expected.
Now that sheโs turned all the criminal (and obnoxious) info about her exotic-animal-dealing ex-fiance over to Zander, she can kick back in a hammock with some sweet tea and relax.
Or not.
Turns out Carolineโs not the spoiled heiress Zander thinks she is. The gorgeous hellion wants in on the action and soon discovers just how dirty things can get in the bayou. And the bedroom.
More and more, Zander just wants her safe on the sidelines. But Caroline isnโt going anywhere until justice is done.
Itโs a clash of wills thatโs gonna get hotter than a crawfish boil in July. And the most fun the Landry family has had watching sparks fly since . . . well, the last book.

A wonderful way to close out this series. The Joker combines suspense, heat, and family.
This book is super steamy! Kyle and Rylie have been best friends since kindergarten, each others ride or die. Their chemistry is off the charts and it shows whether they are between the sheets or seething through their toxic hate.
How do two people who are best friends get to a point of toxicity? After a beautiful night where Rylie and Kyle share their V cards with each other, Kyle disappears. He ghosts her for three years and Rylie breaks. Each year turning darker until she’s a different version of who he left behind.
Kyle didn’t just leave to go vacationing and have fun. He also is a different man than who he once was. He’s covered in secrets along with tattoos and new muscles. His outside may look totally different, but his inside still craves the one girl who has always been his everything.
Can these two reconnect after years apart and broken trust?
The Joker is a great interconnected book bringing all of the characters from the past two books together. However, you can also read this book as a complete standalone as well.
Synopsis:
Kyle James cashed in my V card and then disappeared like I was the finishing act in a magic show.
I vowed to hate my best friend, turn the longing and secret obsession with him into toxic hate and maybe a poorly chosen tattoo.
But as the years passed, I let go of any notions I’d ever see him again…until he sauntered on campus my senior year as a new transfer student.
All of Rake Forge was obsessed with his inked skin and that darkness that seemed to seep out of every methodical step he took.
I wasn’t. I knew the boy underneath, and while I wanted to know where he’d been…I would never ask.
Until my dad needed a favor. His team required a way in with my ex-best friend, and his contacts.
I knew Kyle would see through it…but I went anyway.
Suddenly, my world, made of black and white was bleeding color…and he was at the center, daring me to trust him.
My heart, blind and foolish chose to not only trust but to love him too.
I really should have known better.
I was merely a way in for my father, and for the man, I loved…I was just a way out.
*This is the final book in the Rake Forge Series*

Review:
WOW…just wow! I had goosebumps dotting my skin through the entire story!
Aly Martinez always writes emotional, gripping stories and this book is no different. Remi and Bowen dug their hooks in me from the start and I couldn’t tear my eyes from the pages until the jaw dropping end. Well done!
Bowen Michaels is suffering from loss. The love of his life is gone and it’s hitting him hard. The survivor’s grief is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the inner workings of Bowen’s mind. This grumpy man is made up of so much more, but that could be what draws Remi to him in the first place.
Remi is a bit of a klutz, but adorably lives her hotmess life with the curve balls thrown her way. She is sunshine to Bowen’s cloudy personality, but these two opposites share a common link, one that is surrounded by devastation and heartbreak.
Aly captivated me while totally obliterating my heart and I can honestly say I loved it! This book is filled with humor and grief and emotional turmoil. It’s such a beautiful blend of ups and downs that I can only say that I want more of Aly’s intoxicating words and addictive storytelling.
This book is only the first part of this couple’s tale and I desperately need to know more, which thankfully is coming sooner rather than later.
Synopsis:

In a contemporary, sports rendition of Beauty and the Beast, Blind Pass is full of adorable fun and jammed packed with smexy chemistry. Teagan Hunter scored a goal with this fake marriage romance!
Who falls in love with their spouse after saying the words, “I do?” Adrian Rhodes and Ryan Bell are candidates for this very statement. Two similar souls with wounded hearts find themselves living up a night in Vegas and jump into a night they both never forget…or is that saying…a night they do forget due to being highly intoxicated. It could have ended that way except that it was recorded and posted online so maybe they won’t forget it after all. Either way, Rhodes and Ryan leave with a non-refundable present in each other. What happens in Vegas sometimes gets splashed all over the internet, like their last minute wedding. Now what?
This is a grumpy-sunshine, hockey romance with lots of humor and tons of heart. While this is a version of Beauty and the Beast, I love the vulnerable side that Rhodes offers up multiple times showing us that not all men live vain and egotistical lives. His grumpy side comes from a place of long time hurt, where he’s pretty much given up all hope of being happy in love, but Ryan truly sees him for more than just his vain outer shell. She may be the Beauty in this tale, but she digs below the surface and looks beyond the flaws to see inner beauty in those around her. I love that.
Mixed in with all the humor is a truly beautiful tale of loving one’s self and finding hope when you sometimes feel hopeless. These two will bring a lot of laughter, but also prepare for those heartstrings to be tugged as well.
Synopsis:
What happens in Vegas doesnโt always stay there.
I would know. Iโm coming home with a brand-new ring on my finger.
My wife? Ryan Bell.
Weโre polar opposites.
Sheโs sunshine and happiness.
Iโm grumpy and scarredโliterally.
We could get it annulled and no one would be the wiser.
Only problem? We posted about it online, and itโs already making headlines.
I canโt afford to get that kind of attention and tank my career, and Ryan needs my help too.
We make a plan: stay married for one year, play our roles, and divorce amicably at the end. No harm, no foul.
Besides, thereโs no way the beauty is going to fall for the beastโฆ

In public, Perry Constantine is the life of the party. Easygoing. Adored. In private, he’s brooding. Dark. Angry. But so am I. It’s a contest of wills to see who will break in the bedroom first, and while I try to remain strong, I find myself craving the very man I swore to hate.

This is a sweetly romantic tale with a slow build.
London Spark is my new favorite Spark sister, although the little sister, Harlow, may be running a close second. Harlow’s story seems like it could be fun, but back to London, she’s quirky and full of energy, has a mind set for business and is dedicated to her family. Her passion and dedication knows no bounds, except maybe when it comes to dating. When an attractive man approaches her in a bar, literally days after her last failed relationship, she lets him down easy, or what she thought was easy, by not accepting his phone number and saying thanks, but no thanks. She never thought she’d see him again, especially when she’s presenting to a new media company and he’s the billionaire that runs it.
Jackson Holt is the head of Holt Media. He’s also the guy who was turned down by London a few months ago. Granted he looked like a homeless man at the time, but he had a very good reason for his glam-down look. He’d just been camping and had a full beard and was not in a suit, but seeing her again still had the same effect on him that he’d had back then which had pretty much knocked him off his feet. This time around is different though as they enter a working relationship and he can’t jeopardize her chance by dating him.
While these two work together, there can be no hanky panky, but the chemistry is still sizzling. Once their contract is done, the gloves come off, metaphorically speaking…however, is Jackson keeping secrets that could ruin the relationship they’ve been building?
This book is fun, low on drama, but also a slow build for heat. A perfect contemporary romance that fits in between lots of angsty reads. I loved it. (P.S. there are some really great cameos from Helena’s other books…squeeeeeee!!)
This is the second book set in the Spark House world, but can be read as a complete standalone.
Synopsis:
Charming, hilarious, and emotional…Starry-Eyed Loveย is Helena Hunting at her very best!
Having just broken up with her boyfriend, London Spark is not in the mood to be hit on. Especially not when sheโs out celebrating her single status with her sisters. So when a very attractive man pays for their drinks and then slips her his number, she passes it right back to him with a โthanks, but no thanksโ. As the business administrator for their familyโs event hotel, the Spark House, London has more important things to worry about, like bringing in new clientele.
As luck would have it, a multi-million-dollar company calls a few months later asking for a meeting to discuss a potential partnership, and London is eager to prove to her sisters, and herself, that she can land this deal. Just when she thinks she has nailed her presentation, the companyโs CEO, Jackson Holt, walks in and inserts himself into the meeting. Not only that, but he also happens to be the same guy she turned down at the bar a few months ago.
As they begin to spend more time together, their working relationship blossoms into something more. It isnโt until their professional entanglements are finally over, that London and Jackson are finally ready to take the next step in their relationship. But between Jacksonโs secretive past and Londonโs struggle with her sisters, London must question where she really stands – not just with Jackson, but with the Spark House, too.
