Review:

Back to Valley U with a FANTASTIC new series and new characters that totally stole my heart!!

I an absolutely in love with the Valley U world and adore that Jenshak returned with all new characters for me to fall in love with. To add a huge cherry on this already delicious sundae, I was completely duped into believing Daisy would fall for one character, until several chapters in, NOPE…totally thrown for a loop. I love surprises and this was a brilliant twist.

This opposites attract couple was refreshing and just plain adorable. Mostly, they never saw it coming themselves, but it also wasn’t some elaborate scheme or prank. Their relationship was tied up in sweetness and then nautiness, but honestly I just fell in love with the two of them. This is Jenshak doing what she does best and bringing Valley U back to its shining glory.

This book is all sorts of cute and I can’t wait to return again for more of these amazing Wallflower girls and the men who fall for them.

Review/Synopsis:

Review:

The final book in the Collector trilogy and this love story covers a lot of ground, but comes with a HEA.

Daphne and Emerson LeBlanc have been a fascinating love story. The way Amelia writes is always a full course meal for the reading palate, but on top of that the way she tackled mental health and abuse in this story was done with beauty and love.

Both Daphne and Emerson suffered in the households they grew up in, where they should have been able to trust their fathers, it wasn’t the case. It is probably a big reason why their souls recognized the same darkness in each other. Their love grew from their brokenness and their ability to comfort one another.

There are large chunks of this book where they spend time without each other, but they are with their respective families. It’s not necessarily a bad thing as they each need time to gain that family support and it also gives us more insight into other characters for future storylines.

Daphne is Leo’s baby sister and the one he spent a lot of time protecting throughout her life, he isn’t just going to let her go easily, especially to a man he believes kidnapped her. I honestly loved having Leo as the overly protective family member in her life. Leo Morelli has been pegged as the antivillain, but he’s one of my favorite characters, especially when he goes all alpha over his family members.

On Emerson’s side of the family I like both of his brothers, but Sin just a bit more. I can’t wait to find out what his story will be, but until then….back to the Morelli world.

Synopsis:

Emerson LeBlanc lost more than an acquisition. He lost the woman he loves.

There’s no redemption for a man with his past. No future for a relationship built on stalking and kidnapping. At least that’s what he believes. When he meets Daphne again, she’s not a piece of art. She’s a woman determined to paint a new path. For herself. For him. Except the ocean holds more than shadows. It holds danger that could ruin them both.

This series must be read in order for the best enjoyment:
