Intense, with dramatic moments, and a jaw dropping ending.

Before finding romance and then never looking back, my favorite books were filled with mystery, murder, suspense and maybe a little romantic tension between characters, but that was never the underlying theme. T.K. Leigh has brought out the best of what I used to devour in those murder/mystery books while adding the spice I now crave.

Provocation is the third book in the Temptation series and really should not be read out of order. In this installment Julia and Lachlan finally left Hawaii, they’ve left their love bubble and are now trying to figure out how to make things work in the real world.

They both live very public lives and Julia has a teenage daughter, so leaving their bubble isn’t necessarily easy, but can it be done? Especially when it appears new murders might be happening on a copycat level of what Julia’s incarcerated husband used to commit.

This book is intense for delving into their relationship and for opening up the past murder cases. All the connections and their growing love is super delicious and while also jaw dropping at times.

I’ve been on the edge of my seat through this entire series and can hardly wait to see how everything turns out in the very end. So, prepare for a wallop of a cliffhanger, but it’s the last of them before the final book. So I’m super excited for the next one to arrive. Bring it on!!!

One week. No names. No expectations.

That was our agreement.

We were supposed to walk away once our time in Hawaii was over.

No matter what.

I didn’t think it would be this difficult…
But it is.

I didn’t think I’d ever fall in love again…
But I did.

Worse, I didn’t think I’d ever trust again…
But I do.

Until the bottom drops in a way I never could have anticipated.

Lines are drawn.
Loyalties are tested.
And I’m stuck in the middle, torn between two opposing forces threatening my very existence.

Do I listen to what all rationale and reason tells me to be true?
Or do I follow the path I know deep in my soul is the right one?

I’m engaged in a fierce battle between my head and my heart.
And there can only be one winner.
