A quirky, forbidden romance that is a quick pick-me-up on a nice spring day.

Karlie is living in a college apartment and is the first to arrive among her roommates for the new school year. On her very first day she locks herself out of her apartment and the only thing to do is contact campus security to get her back inside.  A tall drink of hunky kevlar covered cop appears and their meet-cute is solidified. After that Karlie’s run-ins with Max go from cute to sometimes life threatening, but thank goodness he is there to protect and serve.

While Max knows there should be no personal fraternization with students, his feelings only continue to get stronger with every interaction. Karlie is a light he just can’t look away from and it’s get harder and harder to stay away.

The secondary characters are fun, especially Max’s sister and the very helpful bartender, this series will only continue to grow.

Synopsis:

He just has to survive flaming appliances, nipple rings, rabid squirrels, and a basement dwelling chupacabra to win the girl of his dreams.
