Review:
A total page-turner, with a forbidden aspect, in this enemies-to-lovers story.

Nico is drowning in his grief. He’s hurting and lashing out at everyone he loves and turning to destructive means to numb his pain after losing his father. Within that destructive path is Brianna, the one woman whom he can’t seem to stay away from, but he also treats like dirt. Is it his fault that she comes back for more every single time? While his friends have tried everything to bring Nico back from the darkness, they resort to one last measure and reach out to Brianna to ask for help.

While Brianna has a huge heart and wants to help Nico, her best friend-Jody-is also immersed in this dark world and escaping Nico and his path to self destruction is practically impossible, no matter how much she’d love to walk away. Seeing Nico slipping further into darkness she just can’t say no, but when she lands a job at Knight’s Ridge College and becomes Nico’s teacher she knows she should step away, but once again, getting pulled into his orbit…she has a hard time saying no.

The back and forth, push and pull from these two made my pulse race, especially knowing Brianna’s huge heart. This is book one in a trilogy and ends on a big cliffhanger which will pick up in Corrupt Princess.

Synopsis:
USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Tracy Lorraine brings you a new dark mafia, high school bully romance story set in the Knight’s Ridge Empire world.

The night we met, she was just another one-night stand.

We were never meant to see each other again, and my best friend certainly wasn’t supposed to go and fall in love with her best friend.

Collateral damage… she’s already broken my biggest rule when we hooked up for a second, third, fourth, and maybe a few more times.

She’s everywhere I turn. I can’t escape her or the things she makes me feel.

Thanks to my best friend wanting to do anything to make his girl happy, she’s the newest teacher at Knight’s Ridge College.

If I needed to stay away before, now I have no choice. Not only is she an obsession I don’t need… she’s forbidden.

But I’ve never been as good at following the rules, so much as breaking them. I need to be careful before she gets too close to break me.

The consuming darkness inside threatens to take over following my father’s death, and I find myself craving her light even more than ever.

The only problem is, I don’t want her to rescue me. I want to drag her down… corrupt her.

We’re a match made in hell that first night we met, so why stop now when playing with fire is so much fun.
