A brand new world filled with Savage boys and a fierce girl who fights back just as hard. Once I picked up this delicious, dark filled book, I couldn’t set it down. It’s filled with mystery, darkness, and hot men with issues, check, check, and check please! Then add in an amazing girl who gave back as good as she got…I couldn’t stop turning the pages. I love a heroine that doesn’t lie down and take what’s dished out to her, withering away waiting to be rescued. So huge check to the yes!!
Stevie Heron is searching for clues…I won’t say exactly to what to give anything away, but it sets a target on her back when she does. This target is placed by three guys; Micah, Vince and Ashton. Three guys who all belong to The Brotherhood, a fraternity of sorts, but more than that, these three guys have a longer history of shared trauma and darkness that binds them closer than even college would.
Just a little overview of who these three boys are; They all have a little bit of psycho living under their facade, some more than the others. They all play hockey, but that part of their persona is all off book, however it helps in knowing they are big, fit and have a bit of rage to their personalities. These three are close and have been through a lot, but it comes out as the story progresses, keeping the mystery and allure to not only the book, but also to each guy, so I will keep that anything else about them close to my chest as well. Sorry, not sorry.
When Micah, Vince, and Ash meet and get closer to Stevie, darkness understands darkness and more than they ever would have guessed, things begin to change between them. Hate morphs into something that’s not hate and it throws all of them for a loop. Stevie is a girl that may fit into their world, but does she want to?
With so many twists and turns, dark moments and chemistry through the roof, this jump into a brand new world is intoxicating. Especially with the cliffhanger at the end…I can hardly wait for more!!
