Filled with brave men and stories about the strong women who wait for them.

It’s not easy to give your heart to a military man, especially when he has already pledged himself to serve his country first. A woman will always come second and not every woman is strong enough to wait while their man is serving their country.

This anthology is filled with stories about second chances, first loves, reunions and love revolving around the men and women who serve this great country of ours. They are all short stories that involve military heros and it is a great way to revisit some old worlds while meeting new friends, or perhaps meet a new author that you just haven’t had the chance or reading before or lots of different combinations.

I was lucky enough to have a little bit of both and enjoyed everything tucked within here. It had me scrolling through several author pages looking to see if there were more books coming, what back lists I would need to add to my ever growing TBR, and what I’ve possibly missed along the way. I hope you enjoy this anthology as much as I did.

Join the authors of AUIS (Authors Unleashed in the South) and The Elks Lodge help veterans rehabilitate through sports programs, therapy kits and many other things. The Welcome Home initiative reaches out to the most vulnerable veterans, those who are homeless, to help them find shelter. There are many other programs the lodge has like youth programs and they provide scholarships.
