I don’t have the hots for my roommate… If I say it enough times, will I believe it?
A Reluctant Roommate, an all-new hilarious forced-proximity, brother’s best friend, romantic comedy from USA Today bestselling author Angela Casella is available now!
I don’t have the hots for my roommate… If I say it enough times, will I believe it?
Drew
Some people might say I’m allergic to change. They’d be right.
I’ve lived in the same house my entire life, worked at the same company since I graduated from college, and hung out with the same three friends since middle school. If you think that sounds boring, you’re in agreement with my new roommate—my sister’s best friend, Andrea Ruiz.
Andy has always been a ball buster, a hell raiser…and she’s also the sexiest woman I’ve ever met. I let her move in because she was down and needed a place to stay, but she’s taking a hammer to my carefully constructed life.
Andy
My grandmother’s always told me I’m too impulsive for my own good. Should’ve listened to her, I guess. I posted a few (very tame) videos of my feet on a platform known for its racy content, and suddenly found myself homeless and out of a job. But Drew took pity on me and gave me a place to live, and now the Fairy Godmother Agency, a husband and wife P.I. team who thrive on anarchy, is offering me a job.
Drew’s so solid and reliable. I know my chaos is driving him crazy, but there’s a part of me that likes driving him crazy. I want to crack his shell. Because in the brief moments when he lets himself relax his rules, he’s surprisingly irresistible.

Review:
I was sort of torn after finishing this book. I both liked it and was also frustrated by it.
I’ve loved all of the couples leading up to this book and considering both Andy and Drew have been secondary characters in previous stories I was looking forward to their romance, but sadly I felt that their chemistry didn’t spark.
Normally, I feel like forced proximity couples build up a ton of chemistry, either through their animosity towards one another that eventually turns into ripping off one anothers clothes, or long stares that turn into intense heat that also make clothes fall off, but these two did so well at avoiding one another that sparks didn’t well…spark and clothes didn’t magically fall off. Their chemistry fell flat, at least for me. I had such high hopes and loved both of them, especially Drew, he’s a big sweetheart, with a big….um….heart. Yeah. 😉
What I did like was the returning cast and the shenanigans that ensued, along with the entire nutty gang and all of their crazy antics. I love the plans for what’s coming next and even if this particular book was up and down for me, I still love this world and plan to return for more.

Matchmaking a Roommate by Denise Grover Swank & Angela Casella is now live!
He’s her next makeover project. She’s his next mistake.
Ivy
I’m Ivy Anders, popular romance novelist and small-town success story. Or so they say. I tell myself I’m only back in my hometown because my father had a heart attack, but that’s not the full story.
I can’t go home. And the longer I stay, the less I want to. I’m drawn in by my part-time job at Ziggy brewery, which I took to research for my next book, and by the mystery of Lou, my father’s stuffy lodger, a temporary transplant from New York.
Normally, I wouldn’t look twice at someone like Lou. He’s a rules guy, and I’ve never met a rule I didn’t want to break just for the fun of it. But it’s obvious he needs an intervention to avoid becoming an old man at thirty-four, and I am going to make that happen.
Lou
I came to Highland Hills to hide. It’s not every day a man loses his professional integrity, his fiancée, and his pet fish all in the same week.
The last thing I want is for smoking hot Ivy Anders to get it into her head that I should be her project. But she has, and it’s hard as hell to say no to her. Believe me, I’ve tried.
The more time we spend together, the more I realize that I have another problem on my hands: Ivy’s everything I’m not—young and wild and free—and she’s all I can think about.
Denise Grover Swank is a New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal best-selling author who writes romance mystery and romantic comedy.
She lives in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, a suburb of Kansas City, MISSOURI. (So many people think it’s in Kansas.) She has six kids—three out on their own, one in college, and two in high school. She has three dogs. She spends her free time binging Netflix, drinking wine, and reading. Not necessarily in that order.
ANGELA CASELLA is a romcom fanatic. Writing them, reading them, watching them—she’s greedy, and she does it all. She writes the Fairy Godmother Agency series solo, and she’s lucky enough to collaborate with Denise Grover Swank on multiple series.
She lives in Asheville, NC. Her hobbies include herding her daughter toward less dangerous activities, the aforementioned romcom addiction, and dreaming of having someone else clean her house.

Review:
A fun, sassy book that touched my funny bone while touching my heart.
He’s Mr. Relationship and she’s looking for fun.
He’d rather watch a documentary and she’d rather watch a romcom.
He’s Mr. Stability and she’d rather try new things.
On paper Ivy and Lou shouldn’t work and that’s exactly how the Matchmake Me app feels about them too. However, the more time they spend together they begin to doubt what the AI system says about the two of them, especially when it matches them with people they have nothing in common with.
This opposites-attract story is simply adorable, not to mention, fulls of laughs, as Ivy and Lou figure out their grumpy-sunshine coupleness is exactly the best thing each other needs.
I love having Ivy’s siblings make an appearance here and there, but honestly my favorite aspect of this book is just how candid Ivy is. She completely owns who she is and her vibrancy shines through. It’s no wonder a grump like Lou is drawn to her shiny soul. ✨️

A Brooding Bodyguard, an all-new opposites attract, steamy bodyguard rom com by Angela Casella, is out now!
It’s not easy being famous.
Okay, you already hate me . . . can we start over?
Sinclair I’m Sinclair Jones, best known for playing a woman ten years younger than me on TV. Or at least I was until I quit my job and moved to Asheville.
I came here to find myself. Instead, I tried—and failed—at a bunch of hobbies before landing a gig I don’t suck at: being the fake girlfriend of a reality TV outdoorsman. Our arrangement is great for my image—and his—but there’s been an unwanted side-effect.
I have a stalker, and he’s escalating.
Luckily, the Fairy Godmother Agency, a husband and wife P.I. team, have signed on to help me find my stalker. Unluckily, everyone has insisted I hire a bodyguard.
Rafe is obnoxious and opinionated, and he calls me Clay because I once threw a clay phallus at him. (Yes, literally.) I don’t want his help, and I especially don’t want this compulsion to keep checking out his arms.
Rafe The last thing I want to do is follow around a TV starlet, but I’m in between jobs, and I have my reasons for taking this one. Still, I’m in hell, sitting in on manicures and book club meetings, and watching romcoms with a spoiled screen princess who’s surprisingly naïve for a millionaire.
But the more time I spend with Clay, the more desperate I am to protect her, because I’m falling for her charm—just like millions of other people have before me.

Review: A Brooding Bodyguard has antics, the fairy godmothers are back and they are hilarious, the main characters bring heat and steamy chemistry, and then we have mystery – so let’s talk about who is stalking Sinclair? Yes, I loved trying to piece the clues together right along side the Scooby-Doo like crew. This book brings it all!
On top of the mystery and hilarity of the story, Sinclair and Rafe also circle around their feelings for one another which is steamy, steamy good. Rafe is Sinclair’s bodyguard so it’s not completely cut and dry, since his attention is on his job – well guarding her body and part of his job duties are hiding in the backyard so they can catch her stalker not living in the spotlight where a relationship between them would put him. There is also the small hindrance of Sinclair’s fake relationship with Edgar James. While it make be fake to them, the world believes its very real. Rafe can’t exactly hold her hand in public while Edgar is still in the picture.
To say their problems compound as the story progresses is putting it mildly, but it never once dampens the heat between them. Whether it’s the thrill, the forbidden, or just the pure chemistry between the both of them something works and it works very well.
I loved this new addition to the fairy godmother series. It was a ton of fun to read while figuring out the mystery of who was behind everything.

Matchmaking a Grump by Angela Casella & Denise Grover Swank is now live!
He wants to destroy her show. She wants to get on Santa’s naughty list with him.
Rowan No man wants to be nicknamed Cupid. My family’s run a matchmaking business for years, though, and my sister’s a romance novelist. You get the picture. To make matters worse, my narcissistic grandmother just sold a reality dating show to network television. Thanks to her, our small town is about to become a hotbed of tourists and opportunists.
Her show needs to be stopped, and I’m exactly the man to do it. Cupid, reporting for duty
The star of the show, Kennedy Littlefield, isn’t my type at all. She’s a wealthy heiress with an unhealthy obsession with Christmas.
There’s just one problem: I can’t stop thinking about her.
Kennedy I’m lucky to be doing this show. Maybe I’ll start believing it if I repeat it enough…because I’m supposed to be dating eight men, and they all suck. I’m not here to fall in love—I’m trying to save a non-profit with the publicity from the show—but I’d hoped for a Christmas miracle.
I love Christmas, only it hasn’t come to the set because the show doesn’t air until spring, and no one—with the exception of me—wants to watch a Christmas show in March.
There’s only one thing I want more than Christmas cheer: the ornery grump who keeps hanging out around the set.

Review:
A big, kind-hearted grump and a sweet, lovey heiress who loves Christmas, this had all the making of a snuggle up with a blanket, hot chocolate, and turn every page until it was finished book. Matchmaking A Grump was a ton of fun.
Rowan and Kennedy may have grown up in two different worlds, but at heart they are very similar people. They both have big, beautiful hearts and have that deep need to help those less fortunate. While they both go about it in very different ways, their outcome is still the same and I think that is what their souls connected with when they met one another. However, the complication came in, and it was a big one, because Kennedy was only in Highland Hills to tape a show where she was to find her husband and Rowan was not on the cast list. He was the hired help.
Matchmaking A Grump has a great secondary cast, something Angela and Denise are really great at writing together. They have made returning to this town and discovering these family members love story fun over and over again. Rowan has been the big brother to all of his sisters, protective and sort of grumpy in the background for several books, so I really enjoyed having his story and this book did not disappoint. He was everything I was hoping for and more.
I wasn’t as familiar with Kenney’s family, I’ve missed those stories, but it didn’t make her any less enjoyable to read. Her enthusiasm over the holiday’s and her empathy over helping others is super sweet and she is a very likable character. I can see why Rowan loosened up on his grumpy ways and fell for her.
Fall for a sweetly, quirky holiday romance with a great cast of characters.

My boss, the famous romance novelist, always said she’d open doors for me when I finished writing my first book. Only I have…and she hasn’t. Worse, I just met her new brand manager, and I know him.
Enoch “the Suit” Laskin made my life miserable in business school, right up until he seduced me. Then he took an internship with Parker Brand Management, working for my father, the other man I hate.
Enoch is a traitor. He’s a jerk. It’s torture to be around him.
Lucky for me, the Fairy Godmother Agency, a husband and wife P.I. team who help women in dire straits, have offered to make me their next client.

Review:
It’s reading slapstick comedy!! The Fairy Godmother Agency strikes again and it’s hilarious!!
When Nicole and Damien decide to help out Grace Donnelly with her problem, her ex who is now living in her town and basically haunting her after six years, they take her case to…well….cause him some strife…that’s the best way to put it. It’s basically hilarious and best read to find out exactly everything that happens to Enoch, but is it really fair once you know his story? Sure, every ex needs just a little strife in their life.
Grace has been working as a PA for a romance author for the past six years, instead of doing, one…working in business, which is what her degree is in or two…being a published author herself. Call Enoch surprised when he rolls into town and talks to her again, but especially when she won’t talk to him. It’s been six years and he did sort of take her job, but she wanted to write books, so call him perplexed…really, really perplexed.
Enoch Laskin is in town working with Grace’s employer, helping her rebrand her image, but he also his his own reasons for taking the job and they might all revolve around his old flame. Poor Enoch and his all the karma coming his way….he’s sweet and extremely good natured, with a cremudgend father and adorable, can I still say adorable when they are sixteen, nephew living with him.
Actually all of the secondary characters are fantastic and bring the comedy to life. A Stolen Suit is fun, light, and just all around will bring a smile to your face. Pick up this second chance, laugh out loud romance for pure reading enjoyment.

Through a few twists of fate, I’ve become the caretaker of my grumpy father and teenage nephew. I’m determined to prove myself to Grace, and to them, but everything keeps going disastrously wrong.
If I were a more superstitious man, I’d think someone was out to get me.

After a lifetime of practice, I’m good at pretending. But the more time I spend with Marnie Jones, the less I have to feign my interest in her.
She may be down, but she’s not out. She’s beautiful, funny, and just the right amount of weird. All she needs is someone to remind her of that.
If I weren’t such a screw up, I’d have half a mind to do it myself.

“Aw, you two are staring into each other’s eyes like you’re teenagers,” Sinclair says, slicing her way into the moment. I shift my attention to my sister’s face on the iPad. Her words are sweet, but she’s obviously not appeased. To be fair, she’s spoken to me nearly every day for the last month, and I’ve been feeling down for a while. Now, I’m suddenly in a relationship with a man who looks like this, wearing a nighty that could have been stolen from the set of her Netflix show. She probably has whiplash. Then again, maybe she thinks I could never find a man like this without bribing him. It stings, even more so because she’s right. “What can I say? Mitchell makes me feel like I’m a teenager again,” I tell her, my tone tight. “The same age you were when you pretended you had a boyfriend?” She grins at “Mitchell,” that thousand-dollar grin that’s on dozens of posters. “See? I have my reasons for suspicion.” Old hurt wells up inside of me. My sister was a beautiful TV star, and I was an awkward teenager who couldn’t attract a second glance from a guy unless he was teasing me. So, yes, when she asked if I had a date to prom, I claimed I did. Rupert Wrightman. Crap. I’m really bad at coming up with off-the-cuff names. Actually, considering I told her this handsome stranger next to me is called “Mitchell Mountainbottom,” I’ve probably gotten worse at it. I look down, but suddenly strong fingers are touching my jaw, tipping my face up. Then I’m looking into Mitchell’s eyes, which look hot, like caramel starting to boil in a pan, and he shocks me by leaning in for a soft kiss. It would have lasted for only a few second, just long enough for me to register his soft but firm lips, the brush of his short beard, and his spicy scent, but my mouth parts in surprise, and then I find myself pressing into him, electricity arcing between us and gluing us together. He’s the one who pulls back, a slight smile on his face as he lifts his hand to my jaw and softly traces it. “Seems to me there must’ve been plenty of guys half in love with her,” he says, still looking at me, and my pulse is galloping in my chest, so alarmingly fast I think I might actually die. “If she did pretend to have a boyfriend, it was probably because she wanted to let them down easy.” He lifts a hand to my jaw again, tracing it. “She’s thoughtful like that.” I’m at a loss for words. Actually, I can’t do anything but gape at him. Should I be pissed at him? Probably. Maybe I would be if I could form a single coherent thought. It’s for the best that Sinclair takes over. “You guys are too cute.” There’s a bit of an edge to her voice. She’s still suspicious, although I’ll bet she’s not altogether sure why she’s suspicious. “Yes, we are,” Mitchell says with a smirk. He’s still looking at me, though. I’m the one who finally breaks the stare. Glancing back at my sister, I clear my throat. “We have to go. Talk to you later?” “Where do you have to go?” she asks. “You haven’t even finished your breakfast.” Mitchell gives her a suggestive grin. “Isn’t it obvious? It was nice meeting you, Scarlett.” Then he reaches over and ends the call.

Review: A light, whimsical romcom involving a fake boyfriend, a jilted bride meme, and a fairy godmother team who comes to the rescue.
This is a brand new interconnected series set in Asheville filled with tons of fun. From the very beginning the hero and heroine have great chemistry and the secondary characters offer the perfect ebb and flow to the plot without getting in the way. It’s the right mix for a good romcom.
Marnie lost her father and was a jilted bride (who became a popular meme of said jilting) all within the last year, she’s currently not living her best life. When her famous sister – yes, famous – asks why she couldn’t have possibly moved on yet, well…Marnie’s had enough and makes up a fake boyfriend named Mitchell Mountainbottom – yeah, Marnie doesn’t work well under pressure.
Do you know who does work well under pressure? Her new fairy godparents, that’s who. Nicole and Damien send Mitchell Mountainbottem to Marnie’s doorstep the very next morning, well, really his name is Griffin, but he’s sweet and completely fake, so he goes along with the awful name and lots of other things in the name of helping out a woman he actually likes.
You know what they say, no good deed goes unpunished. Sadly, Griffin for all of his helpfulness and sweet intentions gets caught up in a can of worms he didn’t exactly plan on opening, but then again, he knew that can was sitting on his shelf.
Griffin is everything a boyfriend should be; dashing, handsome, thoughtful and sweet, but there is a darkness to his past that doesn’t allow him to open up, not like Marnie who is an open book and easily loves and trusts everyone she meets. These two are adorable together and rock the charts for chemistry, but could their fake turn into something real?
A Borrowed Boyfriend is mischievous in the best of ways with lots of colorful side characters and charming fun romance.
