For fans, this is the sweet ending we’ve all been waiting for…it’s finally Ash and Amelia’s time to shine!! For every gap, every easter egg that was dropped in prior books, Wait for Always filled in those moments and it made my heart sing.

Ash and Amelia have grown up together, been there for each other for countless moments, good and bad, and while they’ve both had other relationships they never dated one another. It certainly didn’t mean that Amelia didn’t hold a flame for Ash for years, even when he was planning to marry someone else, it never extinguished her love for him, but this story…their story shows that sometimes timing is everything and love will eventually get it right.

I don’t know if it was already knowing the angsty, heart wrenching outcome of the love triangle between Ash, Cole and Lila, but this book felt less angsty. Personally, I liked knowing the outcome of that part of the story, but my heart still ached for Amelia knowing she loved Ash through the whole ordeal.

This was the perfect ending to tie up such an angsty beginning to this series and I loved it!

So many lives are intertwined while a love story weaves between Maddox and Josie. In Second To None we, the reader, get to visit their past and present as Maddox and Josie tell us their story of how their love changed and evolved and now might not be enough to survive a final time at redemption.

Maddox and Josie basically grew up together, with Josie being the best friend to Maddox’s twin sister, Marley. Josie was a staple in their home, but when hormones hit so did the feelings. Even when Marley asked Josie not to pursue her brother, it became impossible when they both went to college and had harbored feelings for one another for several years. However, timing and circumstance was never on their side and they were never able to sustain a flame, but with one last chance could they finally be in the same spot with all the obstacles out of their way?

K.A. Linde definitely has written this series in a way that pulls at every emotion and brings out ALL the angst. I truly enjoyed how past and even future couples intertwined even more than the past books to interconnect with Maddox and Josie’s story. This is a book where I feel that reading the first two books in this series will certainly enhance your reading experience, but if you wanted to go in blind and read it as a standalone it is still a beautiful love story between the main couple.

I don’t necessarily want to talk about what’s coming up next because this book isn’t about them, but I also know that next couple might break me. Just knowing how Linde has written this entire series I think I need to stock up on tissues now.

I’m so happy that Maddox and Josie are finally here and their story is getting the HEA they deserve. I’ve loved this series from the beginning, even though I feel like my heart is ripped out every single time I step back into this world.

At First Hate is a second chance love story that bruised my heart with all the angst…(sobbing)…it was a hard won love that had me in its grips from the very first page until the very end. So good!!

Told only from the POV of Marley Nelson, we weave back in forth from the past to the present and how one man, Derek Ballentine, has affected her life over and over again. This K.A. Linde type of book is what I absolutely love from her. It’s page turning, gut-twisting, and a one of a kind story that I can’t put down once I start. If you read Hold The Forevers, a few characters might seem familiar, along with the writing style that this book is written in.

Derek Ballentine and Marley Nelson first meet in high school and it was certainly a meeting of – she resented him and he just wanted in her skirt. Total teenage hormones. They continue to have a back and forth kind of frenemy zone where Derek doesn’t really know how to take Marley or how to subdue those hormones for years and unfortunately it creates bad decision making, dumb choices, and just plain old youth mistakes that work against them.

Weaving back and forth, through past and present, we get to witness how their relationship changes through time. The mistakes, the love, the loss, everything, but in the end will it be enough to finally push them past all the hate.

How do you ever get over your first love, because at the end of day, this is truly what Derek and Marley are, they just don’t know it for years…..oh, my bruised heart!!

I loved reading this angsty book and I can’t wait to return for more.

This is a book filled with interconnecting storylines that took two friends on several fake dates while they slowly fell in love.

Julian has always found Jennifer attractive, but never acted on it for several reasons, a big one is that he had a long term girlfriend, who is a bit of snobby witch, but now they are both free and he finds himself in the perfect situation to finally make his move.

Jennifer has had a crush on Julian since he moved to town, but the timing between them has never worked out, but when the opportunity arises for Julian to accompany her home for a family event and she can return the favor for a gala, their friendly status elevates to fake dating and then to more as “benefits” soon become involved, things soon get complicated.

I’ve loved reading K.A. Linde before and she’s bewitched me in the past, however I’m not sure if it was this story, or the chemistry between the characters or what exactly as this story didn’t connect right away with me. It was pleasant and I enjoyed all the characters, but I didn’t get that wow factor right out of the gate. This couple was slow to warm for being friends and having a history, but overall the story was a 4.5 read.

A love triangle that will have you switching teams and wondering who will be the groom until the very end of the book…well done.

Told only from Lila’s POV, she is torn between the two loves of her life from the early age of the very first time she fell in love back in high school up until she is standing at the altar on her wedding day.

Lila volly’s back and forth between Ash and Cole throughout her entire dating life as these two men come in and out of her life until she finally makes a decision of who she wants to spend the rest of her life with, but is it her final decision?

I personally leaned towards one man more than another throughout the entire story. Whether it was my own personal experiences, or how the actual story was written to catch my attention, I guess I don’t really know, but I am happy with how the story played out.

I feel like there could be criticism over how Lila couldn’t make a choice, but here is just a bit of her history; her father left at an early age and she is the youngest of four sisters. The feeling of abandonment and never measuring up was always present. The fact that both men loved her and were always willing to be present in her life made it an easy choice to step back in when the time came, I won’t say more than that as to why that happened, but it is why both men were continually in her heart. Lila isn’t weak or a manhunter or anything cruel, she truly loved both men, but at the end of the day one was the better choice for her.

This is a beautiful story of Lila and the growth of how she really found herself and the love that she deserved.
