A perfect book for the beautiful spring days ahead. Lila Monroe wrote a wonderful lighthearted read about second chances in The Breakup Artist.

Katie is known as “The Breakup Artist”, between her blog, clientele, and book soon to be released on the subject of letting go and breaking up amicably. Having been ghosted in a relationship herself years before and never really getting closure, she has made it her goal to seek that out for her clients and do it without baggage.

When she runs into her ex, Wes, whom she hasn’t seen since the moment he ghosted her, she not only realizes she may not have come to terms with her feelings, but she also hates realizing that her success is all due to his leaving. When they are forced to work together and she takes a closer look at everything she has been avoiding for the past several years, the breakup artist may not follow her own advice.

This entire book is light and fun, which I love about Lila’s books, but it is also a concept I wholeheartedly believe in. Hilarious right out of the gate!! Lila Monroe is always a comedy winner when I want something fun to read. Full of sweet, sexy and lots of laughable moments. What’s Your Sign is the epitome of an office romance where Natalie keeps hoping to dig herself out of a hole, but only ends up finding herself in a bigger one.

The Gazette, where Natalie works, is in jeopardy and in process of a takeover. She finds herself continually throwing herself on the gauntlet to save the paper and her fellow workers, but the hardship really isn’t so hard when the new CEO is handsome and she might have accidently had a makeout session with him before she knew who he was. Ooops.

When the favorite Gazette horoscope writer vanishes Natalie picks up the reigns. No harm no foul. That is until she finds out that one corporate CEO, Justin Rockford is taking the readings to heart.

Justin isn’t like his father, coming in and dismantling a company only to make a profit. Justin actually wants to save the paper and jobs alike and there is something about the horoscope that gives him the advice he likes to hear.  Although, the more time Natalie and Justin spend together the more Natalie realizes that she should probably come clean about the horoscope writing, but that’s the thing with little white lies…they suddenly become a big one that seems insurmountable.

2019 Goals – Monthly Author Feature – Lila Monroe

2019 Goals. Happy August!! I hope you have been enjoying summer. I know I have been enjoying whatever sunshine has been gracing the skies. Knowing cold weather will be here before we know it I eat up the warm weather like it is going out of style.

Fun, Fun, Fun! Hilarious, snarky, and LOL perfection! Poppy and Dylan were so fresh, everything executed with perfect timing which had me laughing or smiling through the entire book.

Poppy’s job is a professional purveyor of the written word, or a Cyrano. She can write up a love poem, a juicy text, a memorable wedding toast, or even an apology love note. Her latest job has her tied to Dylan, a chronic manwhore or as she lovingly refers to-

“my current gig as Dylan’s literary gigolo”.

Ah, yes, Dylan. A man who is and has currently and frequently used Poppy’s services because he likes the ladies and ladies like him. However, his current infatuation is proving to be a tougher nut to crack. An old high school crush. This requires Poppy’s services twenty-four/seven.
