Plus, her mysterious lover is revealed and sorry past BBF’s, but Ryder has vaulted over and taken the number one spot.

While Kat always appears to the outside world that she has her life together and is the life of the party, her facade is only because she’s masking the pain and loneliness of her life falling apart day by day. While it appears that everyone is falling in love around her, thus leaving her behind in the dust and her mom is fading away with a debilitating disease right before her eyes, Kat has never felt more alone. (The wild child of the three and by far the glue that holds them all together)

Ryder is one of the few people who notices the mask she wears, as he has a similar situation at home. Offering up his friendship, which soon turns to more, he never meant to fall for her, especially when his best friend has been waiting to make a move for months, but some things just can’t be helped, especially when it comes to his Kitten. (He is fun, a total dirty talker, doesn’t take life too seriously, but also the caretaker, which made him the perfect fit for this triad)

Styx has been patiently waiting for the right time to make Kat his, but nothing ever seems to go his way. However, when he finds out that his best friend, Ryder, has been spending time with his girl it pushes him to go after her, but what she’s wanting, what she suggests, he’s not sure he can give. (He is focused, intense, straightlaced, and a total rule follower…most of the time)

Defy is definitely full of hot men and lots of spicy good times, but unlike some of the other MC books in this series that are packed with suspense and bad guys, this particular book is full of emotional punches and lots of tears. I really enjoyed the different mix with this story, especially knowing Kat from previous books and that she was going to need special guys by her side with her particular journey.

Defy is a standalone in the Red Ridge Sinners series, but enjoyed more when read right along with the other books.

Rogue is the second book in this unique MC series and I loved jumping right back into this Sinners Mark MC world.

I love how fast paced a reverse harem book typically is. There are lots of character POV’s which always amp up the emotional aspect of the story and I’d say most of the books have a darker or at least suspenseful edge to the plot which always keeps the pages turning. It’s certainly one of the reasons why I love this trope. Throw in the steamy good times and I’m a total sucker for a woman who gets loved up by lots of hot men. Seriously…who wouldn’t?

The Sinners Mark MC series has certainly checked off all of these markers and never once have I found the plot stagenent nor did I find any of the characters lacking. This particular MC series is completely unique with a serial killer living in their midst, a believable twin swap, an MC merge hanging in the balance and a love story unlike any other. It’s riveting and totally steamy to boot!!

Remi falls even further for her Sinner guys in this second book, while the mounting tension grows as more secrets make it harder to expose her true feelings. While everyone is working to uncover the truth about what’s happening at her father’s MC and why someone is after her and her twin sister, Etta, Remi feels torn and struggles with wanting to tell Ace, Trip and Saint the entire truth about her past, but Rogue and Squire agree it’s not the right time to open that truth bomb quite yet.

Rogue does ends on a cliffhanger, so the story will continue in the next book. If you enjoy reading an entire series back to back you might want to wait, but otherwise…enjoy this steamy and suspenseful book!!

Reap is amped up bringing the emotions along with lots of passion. The second book in the Red Ridge Sinner series is more in depth and super spicy, I couldn’t put it down once I started.

What ended on a total cliffhanger in book one, we bring back River, Zach, Diesel, and Jax with more intensity for book two and this time dig deeper into what makes this group unique and work together in a way than other reverse harems I’ve run across.

River is drawn to each of these men, but for very different reasons. While that in itself isn’t different to the reverse harem trope, these three guys would seem like cogs all working against one another in a real world situation instead of getting along when it came to one woman. It seems crazy on paper, but it works and it works very, very well. There is something that each man brings not only to River, but to each other in friendship. I enjoyed watching those bonds form just as much as the ones with River.

While they each find a unique path to River, they also unite around her, thus forming a friendship none of them would have predestined before meeting the woman of their dreams. The question now becomes can they hold on to her and the bond that is still very tenuous while there are still enemies at large. Enemies that could destroy everything and everyone around them.

Whew!! Smokin’ hot start to Red Ridge Sinners!!

Ruin is off to a great start and I already want more! I want to dig into all the secrets, I definitely want more of the bad boy Zach and tenderhearted Diesel. Both of these men have layers that I want to peel back to find more of what they hold. Then there is Jax…that boy is the holding both secrets and problems and I want to find out if he is going to join in on what Zach and Diesel have already unlocked within River?

Whew, speaking of River, she is both lucky and in a ton of trouble with these men. They are tearing her apart emotionally while also denying themselves what could be a wonderful connection. At the same time, River is surrounded by people who have stable and perfect relationships and her heart aches everyday to have something just like that. She hates to admit that it hurts to see her family so happy when she isn’t and she doesn’t know why she’s drawn to men who continue to reject her.

This story is an entire family affair, but at the heart of the story is a young girl trying to grow faster than her parents would like. Elle finds out that actions have consequences, but being part of a MC also means you don’t let down one of your own, especially at Christmas. It’s a spicy and sweet story.

Santa better check the fireplace before sliding down the chimney at this clubhouse because the families riding out of here are hot, hot, hot!!

Hunter Evans is an everyday hero. He was a firefighter until the night he died, only to be reborn as a vampire. Hunter never loses that instinct to want to save others. Even though he now thirsts for blood, he refuses to give in to hurting others to get it, even when that thirst wants to over take him. Hunter is sweet and adorably cute in learning to be a new vampire. He’s full of questions and while he’s grateful for another chance at life, he also struggles with the morality of it all. The person who helps him with it all isn’t another vampire, but a ghost whisperer named, Alice.

Alice Darlington originally mistakes Hunter for a ghost when she firsts meets him, given his recently dead status. She has a gift for talking to ghosts and animals, which is why her first job is running an animal shelter and she only takes appointments for handling ghost problems. So when Hunter comes back to see her…well it’s all very cute because it’s not an appointment day.

These two are adorable in their awkwardness. Hunter is not only figuring out how to be a new vampire, he’s also not had a ton of dating experience since he is the nice guy who always gets friendzoned. Alice is also in the same boat with zero dating experience, so to watch them figure it out together makes this romance extra fun.

On top of the paranormal aspect, there is the continuing mystery of who is trying to kill the paranormals and with that there is a demon sent to spy on them who ends up being both comic relief and a source of comfort.

I like that these books continue to build upon each one, so while I was disappointed that Alice’s powers were only scratched at the surface, I’m hoping they will be flushed out in later books, as Ryan’s powers have grown more since book one and we got a lot more of the werewolves in this book as well.

Rhett…oh, Rhett…That man has come sooooo far. I never thought he would change like he did, but my panties sizzle every time he’s on the page. He’s savage and primal and just so delicious. He may not be ready to “play house”, but he is protective daddy of the group.

Dane is goofy, full of sensuality, and still demanding in the bedroom. All the sides of Dane are fantastic and I love how he rounds out the group. Each man fits all the sides of Sadie and Sadie fits each man perfectly. While Dane and Rhett are best friends and have a bond through the Sinners, Dane and Wes have formed a different bond and complete each other in a different way. The group all get along and love each other to make it work and at the end of the day that is what is most important.

Sad to see this series come to an end, but what a ride it has been.
