Super sweet and kind of dreamy new addition to the Wallflower Valley U series.

Is it fake when it always felt real? Don’t ask Felix and Dahlia their opinion on this matter as they completely faked themselves out when they both agreed to this plan to avoid lots of real feelings.

While they both jump in and agreed to the terms of a fake relationship, their relationship was anything but. To the outside eye, no one would have guessed that they weren’t actually boyfriend and girlfriend. Even Felix’s sisters couldn’t tell his relationship wasn’t real…sooooo, just who were these two pretending for? That’s a question I’ll leave for the reader to discover.

What was lovely though, Felix and Dahlia had a very easy friendship. There was nothing fake or forced about it. Yes, at first Dahlia was a little shy around him, but once she opened up her word vomit actually intrigued him.

Like Felix, Dahlia is as athlete, she was extremely busy with school, golf tournaments and her future career as a fashion designer. Boys had never really factored into her plans, but with Felix now in the mix they made it work because he had the same crazy schedule. It was actually nice to talk to someone who understood the pressure they both shared.

Felix had never had a girl to share anything with or even close to what he felt in his daily life and having Dahlia to talk to was what he enjoyed most, aside to the intimacy it created. She opened up a whole new world to him.

Their relationship was easy, with a slow burn, but also with great chemistry. It’s low drama except for what they themselves created, cause you know…fake relationship and all….everyone sees what they don’t. 😉 It’s a great addition to this sweet series.

Swooney Ever After should be the title of this book because Declan is Jenshak’s biggest heart-throbbingist (yes, it’s a word) hero to date.

Rebecca Jenshak has outdone herself when it comes to the Wildcats and each one just gets dreamier and dreamier. Declan not only steps up when Jade needs a groom, but his love language really shines in noticing all the small things. He’s the guy that makes sure that the fridge is stocked with your favorite food, or makes sure your car is full of gas, or would even build you an office in his home so that you have a place to work. He sees to your comfort and also never wants to take credit for it either. Declan has lived a life in the background, he’s even played his hockey career just in the shadows allowing others to take the light. How is he still single when he’s so humble and perfect?

Don’t worry, Jade asks him repeatedly and speaking of Jade…

While Declan is the perfect guy, Jade is sort of a hot mess. I did struggle a little bit with her hot and cold messy life, but luckily Declan made up for everything that Jade threw a wrench in. She’s a bit self centered and her job is her life, which is what gets her into the mess she’s in in the first place. However, there are a lot of people who place their jobs first, so I didn’t necessarily dislike her for that, but the longer she only seemed to care about it and not about the people in her life…that grated on me just a bit. Because hello…Declan…he’s amazing.

In the end…of course it all worked out and the Jade I got to know from previous books resurfaced, so not all was lost, plus…Declan!!

Adorable meet-cute between Stella and Beau in an airport that turned into witty banter through texting and meaningful conversations through phone calls. This relationship was just too cute and it all happened while they were thousand of miles apart. I loved it!!

Such an adorable idea and I loved this couple for all of their sweet moments, but it was unique because they made it happen when they weren’t even in each others presence. In today’s world with all of the technology it probably happens more often than we realize, but on paper this story could have run dry pretty quick. However, Rebecca did a great job of keeping the story engaging and moving right along. I also liked how it bracketed Holly’s story, filling in bits and pieces along the timeline, but still reading as a complete standalone if you so choose.

A sweetly adorable holiday novella. Jenshak brought all the nostalgia of a family Christmas and mixed it up with college students escaping for a few days during their winter break. This is perfect to pick up and read during an afternoon sitting by the fire with a hot cup of cocoa.

For Holly the holidays mean tradition; baking cookies, singing carols, putting up a tree, spending time with family, etc…However, this year her parents are on vacation right up until the actual holiday so it’s just her and her siblings and they’ve decided to spend time at the family cabin until it’s time to head home. While Holly still wants to do all of the same traditions at the cabin, when she arrives with her twin sister, Stella, she did not expect her brother to be there with most of the football team, especially with Teddy her crush. This changes things, just a bit…but some changes make the magical holiday just a bit sweeter, especially when they get snowed in.

Teddy and Holly are super sweet together. Snowed in with the Player is loving and full of holiday cheer, it’s like reading a Hallmark movie. The story is told completely from Holly’s POV and it’s a quick read that is filled with all the sugar cookie warmth and hot cocoa deliciousness. There’s also a bit of a sneaky peek into Stella’s love story and I can’t wait to see how that is going to play out in the next novella.

Sweet, slow burning, second chance romance set in Jenshak’s Valley U world.

Stepping back into Valley U felt familiar and comfortable, like putting on my favorite sweatshirt. Reading Gavin and Violet’s story was very much reading a comfort story, one without a lot of conflict, but instead focused on rebuilding their relationship, first through friendship and then finally falling back in love.

What we know going into this book is that Gavin Leonard is the worst. What we don’t have is all the facts into why Violet thinks this way. This is the building storyline on why Gavin has to rebuild his reputation with Violet and why exactly he even wants to give it another try.

Instead of painting Gavin in a horrible light, this story is actually really sweet. I love that Rebecca focuses on the present and how much Gavin is into Violet, along with how much Violet is into Gavin as well, but she’s just fighting it with every ounce of willpower she has…for good reason.

This is a super slow burn romance, but it doesn’t lack chemistry or time spent together. Violet doesn’t easily forgive so their relationship changes throughout the book, but it’s fun and sweet and just so lovely. AND….the epilogue…oh, my heart….pure sweetness!!!

A slow burn, second chance romance with a totally swoon-worthy hockey player.

Tyler Sharp is probably the most mature, responsible, yet young, hockey player I’ve had the pleasure of reading. He never takes his eye off of his goals and sadly that involved breaking the only love of his life’s heart four years ago.

Hockey has always consumed Tyler’s life and four years ago he tried to spread his time between having a girlfriend and hockey, but he could see the strain it was having on Piper missing out on enjoying her final year in high school. He broke up with her so she could actually enjoy her final year, but instead it shattered both of their hearts. Now it’s four years later and for the first time they are running into each other and this time Tyler doesn’t plan to let her go.

I empathized with these characters and this story, being a product of a second chance romance myself.  Piper’s broken feelings, gaining back the level of trust and eventually opening herself back up to the man who shattered her entire world was like walking back through time.

Tyler becomes responsible for his sister and Piper is thankfully there to lend a hand. Tyler’s sister, Everly, is a troubled teen, but Piper sees Everly through a different light. While it’s difficult at first to be around Tyler while she’s spending time with Everly, in no time at all reconnecting with Tyler is just like old times and she’s easily opening up her heart again.

Tyler and Piper’s chemistry is there from the very beginning, but their relationship is a slow build. Completely understandable given their past, but I loved reading how their love built again brick by brick, surrounded by their surrogate hockey family.

I not only loved Tyler and how much he cared about his sister, but I also loved the entire hockey team and their bond. Every single player on the Wildcats are like big brothers to Everly and brothers to each other on the team, in short they are a family. Their bond to each other is just another aspect I love to read in this series.  I could read Jenshak’s books and never tire of this world.

I an absolutely in love with the Valley U world and adore that Jenshak returned with all new characters for me to fall in love with. To add a huge cherry on this already delicious sundae, I was completely duped into believing Daisy would fall for one character, until several chapters in, NOPE…totally thrown for a loop. I love surprises and this was a brilliant twist.

This opposites attract couple was refreshing and just plain adorable. Mostly, they never saw it coming themselves, but it also wasn’t some elaborate scheme or prank. Their relationship was tied up in sweetness and then nautiness, but honestly I just fell in love with the two of them. This is Jenshak doing what she does best and bringing Valley U back to its shining glory.

This book is all sorts of cute and I can’t wait to return again for more of these amazing Wallflower girls and the men who fall for them.

This new world, contains a new group of guys to fall in love with, who are not only fun when they all hang out together, but the glimpses we get into their personalities and backgrounds already…well, I’m terribly excited to return over and over again.
