Fall in love with the undead

Nice Girls Don’t Have Fangs~Simon & Schuster

This review is from: April 17, 2013 By kayreader (Kindle edition)

Jane Jameson was a quiet librarian living in the town of Half Moon Hollow, Kentucky. She never thought the disastrous day; she was fired from the only job she had spent her entire life working towards, would be the same day some idiot would mistake her for a six-point buck and end her life as she knew it. At least the living life she’d come to recognize.

Instead of dying along the side of the road Jane finds herself waking up clean and feeling more “alive” than she has in years. Well as alive as the undead can feel. She awakens in the home of a very handsome vampire. The very one who saved her undead life.

To say that becoming a vampire makes Jane’s life easier is the understatement of the year. Instead her super powers only seem to superbly screw up everything she touches. The quiet librarian gets into her first fist fight, she seems to be attracting men left and right, she even gets blamed for murder, and this all happens within a few short days after becoming a vampire. Jane just can’t seem to stay out of trouble.

Molly Harper creates a world in Half Moon Hollow that you just fall in love with. Jane’s snarky attitude is infectious and you can’t help but fall in love with all the secondary characters. This is the first book in this series and once you start it you will want to read them all.
