Review/Synopsis:

Review:

Sweet, emotional, funny, and full of steam, the Dare to Try trilogy is turning out to be my favorite co-written series by Ella and Brooke.

Kieran Bailey may be a firefighter, which is hot all by itself, but aside from his hot profession (I love puns) he’s also endearing, has his moments of adorableness, and is my favorite of the Bailey brothers, especially when Sean, his older brother is razzing him. Did I mention Kieran is adorable? While he came to grips about his attraction to Bash, it’s Bash who ran when he began to feel something for the lieutenant.

Kieran didn’t sit idly by when Bash returned to Georgia. Walking into Bash’s world, he meets his friends, takes his first vacation in, well Kieran doesn’t really remember, but getting to know the man who had enamored him back in Chicago while on Bash’s home turf only solidifies the feelings he’d been feeling even more, but could it work in the long term? Vacations have to end some time, but could they make a relationship work long distance?

Bash is beautiful and fun, a perfect match to Kieran’s more straightlaced ways (more puns, LOL). Bash brings out a playful side to Kieran, a normal workaholic, and Kieran protects Bash, even from himself, a man who looks out for everyone else, but himself. I love how these two wouldn’t seem like a good fit on paper, but they fill in each others spaces so perfectly, if only they could find out how to make their relationship work long term.

I’m very excited to see how the puzzle will all fit together in the final book of this trilogy. I’ve fallen in love with Bash and Kieran and cannot wait to see how it all plays out in the end.

Synopsis:

Dare Me is part two of the Dare to Try trilogy and should only be read after Dare You.

The moment Bash “Miss Razzle Dazzle” Vogel sashayed into Lieutenant Kieran Bailey’s life, both their worlds were turned upside down. What started as an easy friendship quickly morphed into sizzling chemistry that neither one could deny.

But what Kieran knows better than anyone is that when a fire burns this hot and heavy, someone’s bound to get burned. Do they dare to risk being together? Or will the flame of this hot match consume them both?

This series must be read in the following order:
Dare You (book one)
Dare Me (book two)
Truth or Dare (book three)

Blurb:

Unapologetically f*cked up. Heartlessly cruel. Broken beyond repair.

Corvus, Rook, and Grey – The Crows.

Bred in a world of gang wars, violence, and secrets, they rule the bloody town of Thorn Valley and all the people in it…too bad for me I’ve never been good at kissing ass or keeping quiet.

Even if their savage spirits awaken something inside of me I thought was long dead, I can’t break. I won’t.

They think they scare me, that I’ll run and hide, but the joke’s on them. The Crows aren’t the first monsters I’ve faced, and they won’t be the last. There are worse evils out there waiting to take their stab at Ava Jade Mason.

I say let them try. I’m tired of running. Tired of holding back my darkness. Thorn Valley isn’t ready for a new boogie man. Too bad I’m already here.

Crooked Crows is a dark enemies-to-lovers reverse harem romance, meaning the main character will have more than one love interest.

Warning: This series contains foul language, explicit sexual content, graphic depictions of gang violence, and jealous/possessive themes. Recommended for readers aged eighteen and up. Please read responsibly.

About the Author:

Elena writes stories full of feisty heroines and unforgettable heroes. She may also have a small thing for bad boys and often gravitates towards the darker things in life. When she comes out of her writing cave, she can be found obsessively rearranging her bookshelves, drinking an unreasonable amount of wine, or cooking overly fancy meals for her family and friends.
